Organic Mints Candy Tin 4 Flavor Variety Bundle, (1) each: Newman's Own Organics Ginger plus Clawhammer Hot Cinnamon, Spicy Ginger Root, Strong Peppermint (1.07-1.76 Ounces)

I purchased this multipack to verify the high reviews with hopes of giving it as a present to my siblings. Unfortunately the Clawhammer organic "mints" don't perform up to the label. The peppermints are not strong. The cinnamons are not hot. The ginger root has a bit of a bite but no where close to that of real ginger. Moreover if chewed on, the overwhelming sensation experienced with the Clawhammers is like biting on a cube of sugar with no intense release of flavor. The Clawhammers are 1.07 oz, a bit low for the price and the anemic performance. The Newman's ginger mints do not claim more than they deliver and are more reasonable in size 1.76 oz. They rate 3..5 stars, that is, acceptable. I'll keep looking for mints/pastilles that really tingle the tongue and have superior taste as well.

The good: Newmans Own Ginger mints are fantastic, like all other Newman's Own products.The bad: The Clawhammer mints tasted weaker than a 20 year old lifesaver found in a drawer. All the potency of tofu, seriously, they're weak, bland shouldn't be in the same package as Newman's own

I'm sure these are good if they are fresh,,but I got a bad batch of stale mints,,,,no flavor and powdery mess when I opened the box
