fits ASUS tufA15 FA506NF-ES51 barrel connector
Able to connect between old torus 12v transformer to my ASUS tufA15_FA506NF-ES51

Fits Sus ROG perfectly.
Laptop 1 year old. I use it while sitting in my recliner. Because of moving it every time I get up and down, the cord gets twisted. After a while, the cable kinked and broke internally right at the plug strain relief. I cut off the socket end of the adapter cord and the power cord plug. Spliced them together, soldered, put 2 layers of heat shrink on it, and now it works lie a champ. Much cheaper than buying a new power supply and only took a few minutes. If this one goes bad, I have a second one to splice on in the future. Win/win.

Can't find anywhere else, but poor substitute
Giving 4 stars because I literally can't find this adapter ANYWHERE without having to buy a whole new charger for $45+. The problem comes when the charger the adapter is used on doesn't generate enough power to properly charge the laptop. In other words, I can't use my laptop and charge it at the same time. Instead, if my battery gets low I have to shut it off and plug it in before using it.

Only way to power my ASUS TUF
I could not find a replacement power supply for my ASUS TUF machine, the manufacturer did not even have one. I was fortunate enough to find this adapter for a universal power supply, works great.

It gets toasty with a 200 watt power adapter.
This adapter gets toasty, not sure if it's affecting its power transfer. Kind of disappointing.

A life saver for my Asus tuf gaming laptop
I looked everywhere in my local area for a 6.0X3.7mm charger cable but it's a rare size so it is hard to come by, so i just replaced the cable from the original tuf gaming charger with a 5.5mm cable and used this adapter,much faster and cheaper fix than buying a whole new charger. and it works fine with no power issues or longer charging times.

works with the uncommon laptop jack of higher power laptops
it is a right angle adapter for laptops using an uncommon high current custom jackit works if you have a stable voltage power bank or adapter that can supply what the laptop needs 24/7otherwise the issue is not this product but rather the "brownout load detect" method of some power banks or the cord used prior to this adapterside rant: why does brownout load detect even exist on a power bank built with current shunts? answer that maxoak
