Good value for a nifty safety cover for wireless device.

At first I thought this didn't work when I received it, but realised that actually they aren't very intuitively designed (and I probably didn't check the instructions very well!).The pouches have two pockets, one at the front which looks like the main pocket but does nothing (other than confuse you). And then another pocket at the rear which is gold-coloured inside. That gold REAR pocket is the one that is actually protected and as soon as I realised this and put the key in that gold pocket it worked perfectly at blocking the signal!Not particularly smart design, but hey at least it does actually work once you know where to put your key. The material and production quality is pretty average so I doubt it'll last for more than a couple of years, but you get what you pay for at this price.

Standing right by the car, with the key fob in the inner pocket, the signal is completely blocked and the doors won't unlock. With the fob in the outer pocket, it works as normal. The pouch is a tiny bit small as I have my house keys attached to the fob, but it is manageable. The only caveat is to ensure that the fob is in the inner pocket not the outer one or the signal will still be detectable. A car in our street was stolen recently, apparently by the signal being intercepted whilst the owner slept, so £7 is a small price to pay to reduce the chances of that happening.

Look good and work at blocking RFID signal on new 2019 Ford Focus.These are the new upgraded version of the key fobs that stop emitting the signal after a few minutes away from the car. I was still worried that the low life scum would eventually come up with a way of scanning them so opted for these. I have tested both after a few minutes when I thought the key had stopped sending signal and also less time when I thought they would still be active, work fine both times.The pouches look, nice material in a carbon fiber type weave. I say ok as they are a bit bulky, they have the main keyfob pouch lined with special RFID blocking material. They also have a second non lined pouch and I will use it to double up as a wallet to carry a bit of cash and a couple of cards, just to cut down on all the clutter that I now seem to when leaving the house. Stitching looks good, The key chain hook is a bit cheap and the springs are not great hence the 4 stars.Having tried a more expensive one prior to this that didn't work st all, I was sceptical and ready to send straight back, but they work and with two for the price , I think they're a bargain.Durability remains to be seen.

The durability & overall quality is second.to none. Plus the look of the pouch, does look a high quality finish, & the fastening clip on the back is very secure & strong. The only problem I have found is, if u have a key ring on the key fob. The key won't lay flat. But it does still close with no problems, & the velcro fastening is very strong. It would just be nice to be able to have the key fob laying flat with a key ring attached.

The quality of this item is very good. It’s downside though is it’s depth. It’s obviously been designed to take the key fob but not considered that the majority of people keep the fob on a key ring. It means that you have to be careful how you put the key in the case otherwise it will not fasten.

Ive put my keys in it and walked up to car and they work .... car didnt open ! ... as other reveiws have stated ... keys must go in gold coloured part of pouch .....i do think it could be made bigger ... people have a lot of keys on their daily bunch and this will only take the main car key ... as modern day keys are chunkie due to the electronics in them .... as my title says its an item you shouldnt have to buy .... but due to the way some people think they can steal things instead of working for them ....any way i cant give top marks on durability as ive not had them long enough to find out if they fall to bits after 5mins ..... only thing i do know they need to be bigger ....

I was a little worried after reading the reviews and not all being positive about the faraday cage working. They do work with Ford Mondeo keys, you have to put them in the back slot for them to be fully protected.The material feels slightly low quality on stitching, and with lots of use they may break rather easily. Otherwise great value and feel a little safer knowing key fob copying / repeating will be stopped with these.
