Leather Backpack Vintage Daypacks Hiking Laptop Casual Rucksack Bookbag

**I had to edit this - It is a really amazing piece- however- as I changed from my old one to this one, I discovered all the stitching on the back was severed. I am returning this one for a replacement that will hopefully be intact. I still love it- it is awesome- but I got a lemon :(I needed to replace my aging backpack/purse.I had bought one and returned it because it just wasn't the same "in person".So then I ordered this one.OMGI am now ready to backpack across Tibet, seeking crystal skulls, with a whip at my hip, and a rakishly tilted fedora a la Indy!It's a BEAST!!

This is a nice backpack for the price! I got it to use as a purse, since i have to carry my whole house back and forth to work! The only issue i had with this backpack is the same as everyone else, it is very stiff when you first get it! I had to put leather conditioner on it a couple of time to get it to soften.

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! When I went to Hawaii, I had to 'consolidate' before boarding...this backpack holds so much. I must have had 40 pounds packed, but it held up and was comfortable to carry. It is so awesome, I probably won't go back to carrying a large purse. To organize, since there aren't pockets, I use smaller makeup bags that were gifts with a purchase...I just reach in and grab. And, when I don't want to carry the whole bag, I have a small purse packed in it--like a fanny pack, but it's over the shoulder and it used as storage, as well. This was the best investment!

I ordered this bag wanting a vintage looking leather bag that didn't look brand new and cheap. I've had this bag for a few months and every person that has asked me about it thought it was passed down from a grandparent. The leather is amazingly high quality and truly looks like your dads old school bag from college. Exactly what i was looking for. A few of the rivets wiggled loose after wearing it every day for a month in Europe but its cost me 10 dollars to replace them and took the guy five minutes to fix. The amount of space inside is amazing when you consider it has the same dimensions as a regular backpack, can easily hold a weekends worth of stuff for a short trip. Overall great bag and am very pleased with it.

Awesome backpack for the price ! Smelled fabulous out of the box yummy leather smell, and was perfect for caring to an all day music festival!

I've owned a lot of backpacks and this is without question the best so far. The leather has a rugged look and earthy feel and the stitching and rivets are quite sturdy. The bag holds its shape even when fully loaded. It could use padded straps, but an inexpensive set of seat belt pads have filled this role nicely.

Bag looks nice but poorly made. The smell is very strong. Does not smell like real leather. You can see and feel the glue that was used on the inside of bag. The pull sting to close the bag was not sewn on well, I have to be extremely careful when opening and closing because I am afraid the string will burst. The bag held up on my last trip. I was able to fit my laptop, wallet and other female necessities in there. Bag looks nice on the outside but just not made very well.

Not the same color as picture,bottom of bag had a long scratchmark or cut mark ,but it did'nt go thro bag,for that I'm greatful,one of the buckles was torn, The stiching was good,leather was good,but faded in spots,I bought the bag for my bonzi oxygen tank,its easy'er to carry on you'er back,and wanted a nice leather bag.Wish I could have given five stars,but not this time.
