Zodiac Pool Systems IQ900-A Transceiver for Swimming Pool

I had an old controller with the model number B00088 and was not sure this would be compatible but it was! It was easy to replace and directions for connecting to my wifi were way enough.

The app works like some high school kids did the programming. No advanced features. I can't even see my salt ppm. Web interface menu labels disappear after 1/2 second on IOS. Where is voice recognition and custom scene options? Can't be that hard. My thermostat does it and it cost 1/3 this price.

This product worked well but it must be used on the less powerful B channel in your router. My distance form the Netgear router to this receiver was 20 feet so communication was not a problem. The app does want I wanted so I am very happy.The reason for the lower rating was because no where does it say in their instructions that your router must be broadcasting on the B channel. I spent two wasted hours trying to figure out the issue. Once I turned on the routers b channel and loaded the serial number of the wireless iAquaLink device on their web page everything workedIf you have a long distance from your router to the receiver you may have drop out issues. Do not assume that five bars from the G channel to your notebook computer's wireless correlates to five bars on the b channel. In some cases it can be way less. This would also cause dropouts to iAqualink's server.

Horrible App- this is absolutely the worst product you could ask for. The whole reason I bought this upgrade was so that I could control my aqualink from my phone.The physical product works fine, the app barely works.The app hasn't been upgraded in over a year; it is not optimized for an iPhone 5; and it is not even an iPad app even thought hey advertise it as such. The app goes through zodiacs under-powered servers and is consequently OFFLINE 90% of the time. If you finally get ahold of zodiac's non-existent tech support. They will tell you it is your router's problem. I set up a hotspot directly next to the Polaris antennae. .... It's not my router.If you don't believe me, look up "Zodiac pools" in Apples App Store and read the reviews of all of the other miserable users like myself.Do not buy this upgrade!!!!
