The founder of Usaburo Kokeshi "Artist Usaburo" has started manufacturing of Kokeshi in 1950. His unique manufacturing technique and refined design has been loved by the Japanese people until then. Now Usaburo Kokeshi has 6 contest winner designers and 25 craftsmen and women manufacturing the traditional "Usaburo" design Kokeshi as well as the modern newly designed Kokeshi with their exquisite made in Japan craftsmanship.
