My son received this as a Christmas gift. I wish that the people that gave it to them would have put it together but not a big deal, it took my husband about 15 minutes. I see people saying that the quality of this is cheap, I don’t think it is at all. Some of the pieces would not stay in place, like the ladder and the fire station sign so I actually just super glued them into place. I do wish that it would’ve come with a couple people but my son has plenty of people that we can use. Overall he and I both love it .

I'll just start with my surprise that the buyer had to assemble this with tools. I may have missed that in the description. The wood is definitely flimsier than anticipated and than I've experienced with similar toys/products. I can see how in the hands of a boisterous child, this firehouse may not last very long. Once assembled it has a nice appearance, but again, it looks sturdier than it is. It is smaller than one might think, although the dimensions listed are accurate. The truck and helicopter are actually quite sturdy and well done, and I just wish the firehouse itself was equally sturdy. Overall I am a bit disappointed. I haven't put it to the test yet in a busy play therapy room with not-very-careful children, so I may check back to report how it held up later.

Got this for my granddaughter for Christmas. Was easy to put together and she certainly enjoyed playing with it.

You have to build this. No big deal. The instructions are similar to “Ikea” directions. The walls are thin like the hobby store balsam wood. The wall pieces are not the same size causing one wall to not fit properly and it is going to fall out. One of the corner pieces spins and that causes a problem keeping the walls in place too. I can use glue I suppose. The little pieces such as the ladder and red walls easily come out. It is cute but I’m disappointed in the quality.My grandson will like this but it’s not going to last. I’m glad I got this at a lower cost.

The set I bought is missing the helicopter which was part of the reason I bought it. It was not very easy to assemble. The dowel doesn’t fit well and that’s the first step. Some parts didn’t have the hole for the screw fully open. Not great quality at all. Wouldn’t recommend
