Bad quality tool
Item did not hold up as it said it would 10 mm Allen socket head snapped right off with hardly any force being applied.Well now that the tool was broken there was no way to remove the alt pully that was bad.I had to go buy a new alt with the pully on it.So bottom line beware of this product find another quality tool out there this one is not a quality one .Sorry for 1 star there was not a option for zero stars thats what it should be rated zero stars for zero help.

Unfortunately like many others reviews the nut driver end split in half before the pulley was loosened. I welded it back together but it ultimately stripped out. I think the rest of the tools should be of use but I don't know. I ended up carefully cutting the pulley off. Not fun but cheaper than a new alternator.

Awesome quality
Looks exactly like the one Gates has in their YouTube how-to video. Well worth the price as it makes the job a lot more easier.

Indispensable - BUT
You can't change one of these ADPs without these specialized tools, and they seemed to be well designed and well made. But the one tool I needed for my Dodge minivan, the H10 10mm extension, broke before the bolt came loose. This looks like the weakest of the various adapters because it has to be short enough for the large hex fitting to engage the pulley and small enough around to fit into the recess. It's only a 10mm nut besides. I'm trying to buy a replacement for this piece separately.UPDATE 5/30/14 - I found a "Contact Us" link on the Gates website and asked them if I could get a replacement for the broken part. They replied within 2 hours saying if I would send my address they'd send me a new one. Got the new part today. It seems to have been upgraded; it is noticeably thicker in the area that failed. My rating is up to 4 STARS because of their great response and the upgrade. If I can actually use it to get my ADP off, I'll update to five.UPDATE 6/9/14 - It worked. Don't forget ( I almost did) that you are unscrewing the pulley from the threaded shaft. Turn the pulley counterclockwise while holding the shaft still or turning it clockwise.
