Our outdoor cat, Izzy, has been enjoying this cooling blanket for the last few weeks now. We've had temperatures in the high 80s and this little blanket seems to stay cool. When she's not out catting around, she usually hangs out in the shade on our back patio, on this patio set. The back pillow is knocked down so she basically has a double pillow mattress.I laid the blanket across the pillow and she just chillaxes there all the time. To look at the blanket, it looks just like a normal tiny throw blanket, but to touch it, you can feel that it's slightly cooling. Before, Izzy would lay under the patio table in the shade presumably to stay cool. I do feel like this little blanket helps her.The care tag indicates it's machine washable and cool iron (not sure why anyone would iron a cat blanket), but does not having dryer instructions, so I will err on the side of caution and line dry only. Also to be safe, I plan on laundering on the gentle cycle.Overall I would recommend, although $15 seems a bit steep.

I was skeptical about coolness... but the feral cats here do lay on these pads! They are thin, have a comfortable fabric on top, and seem to keep them cooler... I bought 2... have 2 cats. They like to lay on the outdoor kitchen shelf...

My cats both love these. They are super cool to the touch and stay that way for a good while. I bought a total of four so I can keep some in the refrigerator and switch them out as needed. I wish I could find something like this to fit my queen size bed! They're awesome!

This is a pretty nice cool to the touch blanketI wouldn't say it will cool you down but it might help from getting hotter. Because of the silky like texture. Mine came with what looks to be a rust stain. I've had this for a while now and my one cat initially seemed to like it but now never uses it lol. 🤷‍♀️

Wow. I’m literally in shock at how quickly my cat loves this. I literally just received it 10 minutes ago, opened it, and put it on the floor and my cat has been on it since. Our house is in El Cajon with no AC aka East county about 90 degrees or so a day I have a fan but I know my cat gets hot so I decided to get her something that would cool her down. This was so cheap I almost bought the $30 one but this had good enough reviews so I went with this. It’s totally worth it for your fur baby!!! My cat is a short hair and she fits nicely on the small hangs off a little but I thought it would be good to have something that could also fit in a cat carrier if I need to take her to the vet for example. The M & L are more expensive by a couple dollars and seemed too large. The design isn’t very cute but to me that didn’t matter at all just my pet’s comfort. It came within 24 hours which is another reason I was so happy with my purchase because I knew it be hot today and the sooner the better. I can’t recommend this more if you’re looking for a good value but cost effective and actually cooling solution for your pet.

I live in the southern part of the U.S. and it has been getting very hot during the summer months. My cats currently take turns cooling off on the tile in the bathroom, but I wanted to give them another space to cool off. I had seen these cooling mats but wasn't really sure if my guys would even like it. I decided to try this one because it was a good price and I wouldn't mind spending that much if they didn't use it.But they LOVE it! They rush every night to get to the cooling mat first.I have even gotten on it when warm, and the material is really nice and soft while still being cool. Will have to look in to getting more!

Unfortunately, my cat doesn’t use it (or at least hasn’t yet). It’s is cool to touch every time I check. But it is slippery if in wood/ tile. I accidentally stepped on it one morning and slipped real hard, real fast. I’d recommend adding some of those carpet non slip corners.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a really scary fainting episode with my 13 yr old male tabby during this heatwave. Today, it is 32° celcius, and I'm on the 7th floor an apartment. I've been doing everything I can to alleviate the heat from both boys (the other is a 1 year old male tuxedo), as AC is not an option for us right now.I got this mat out and laid it in the most shaded section of the apartment, then brought my tabby to it. About 5 minutes later, the tuxedo wanted to check it out. They've been on it since!PSA: No, there is no cooling gel or anything like that in this mat, but the fabric it's made from retains less heat than most regular flooring. Cats naturally gravitate to the coolest place to lay (unless they want to sunbathe) and that reflects the least heat back to their bodies, so this works like a charm!

Like how cool it is. The kitten prefers to attack it then wrap herself up in it. The 3yr old has no interest in it at all tho.

Our cats love it. When it has been hot and they lay on it cooling off. They even figured out on cool days to flip it over and lay on the other side to stay warm.Well worth the purchase

I find the product expensive for the quality, the mat is not as cooling as I thought it would be but my cats seems to like it.
