The GREAT STUFF PRO Flexible Drywall Gasket is a high-yield, water-based sealant designed for optimal air sealing between framing lumber and drywall. Amazing product. It is a great investment.
We tested it on top plates on two nearly identical houses, one with this gasket and one with no top plate gasket. The one with this gasket scored a 3.5 ach 50 blower door test, the one with no gasket scored a 4.5 ach50 blower door test(lower is better). Both houses were airsealed identically otherwise. The only difference was this gasket foam. Also tested and it goes up easier than sill plate gasket.

Did the job
Used the foam as intended, as a sealing bead between top plate of wall and drywall to prevent outside air from leaking from attic and into second floor of house.

Great seal.
This went on so easily and makes a perfect seal for drywall to the framing. It remains soft and compressable.
