Very clear, easy to read increments.Does not have the sharp metal strip (that cuts fingers!) usually found in wooden rulers. This ruler is better quality than rulers I have found at any dollar store, at a price that can't beat. I have used Fiskars brand cutting tools for sewing and crafts for many years, and am pleased to have found they now also make a basic very usable ruler.

The media could not be loaded. For the most part, this ruler is pretty standard. It's wood, it's 12 inches.... While it might be just a little thinner than some other rules I have found, which may or may not be a problem for a given buyer, it does seem to have one slight bonus compared to similar items. Some rulers seems to have either small numbers or the type isn't very bold. Neither of those are the case with this litter ruler. The type is bold and large enough for even those of us with aging eyes to use.
