If you are on patrol this is a must have. I was tired of my lapel falling off every time I was in a scuffle or hooking. with this it was sturdy and was ready whenever I needed it. love it. definitely recommend.

When wearing this device, it's going to let your shoulder mic rock back and forth.Additionally, the slot where the button goes will wear out the thread holding your button on (if worn on the front of your shirt) Otherwise, it's an ok device....fairly overpriced as well for what it is.

Your uniform will fail before the mic clip will. I know this because I used this specific clip for years on the job.This is a simple and ingenious product that I know was born out of nessessity. Wearing a mic all day and having it slip off is a pain and a safety concern.If you wear a uniform (shirt, outer vest, etc.) with standard sewn on buttons, this clip will secure your mic very well.*** I recommend adding some extra threads to reinforce the button you clip this to. ***

Best solution for uniforms when ties are required to be worn

It's OK but I don't like the single button clip because it doesn't sit flat and pulls towards the mic cord. It works fine but I opted for a different one and keep this as a backup
