The Lowepro Pro Runner BP 450 AW II is easily the best all-around camera bag I’ve ever owned
The Lowepro Pro Runner BP 450 AW II is easily the best all-around camera bag I’ve ever owned. I used two other Lowepro bags and still use a GuraGear 30L bag when I need to carry a 500mm lens, but this one is the best, especially when flying with a lot of equipment. Two tips: 1) It comes with an external tripod foot, which I’ve found is unnecessary. Leave it home and save some weight and space. 2) It comes with a small, removable accessory bag that fits in the bottom of the bag. I like carrying two bodies with lenses attached, so I remove the accessory bag and use that space for the second body. PROS: - Capacity: It holds a 15” MacBook Pro, iPad Air, two pro-size camera bodies with lenses, 6 other lenses, external flash, light meter, Hoodman, several 100m filters, and lots of memory cards, batteries, and cables. At the destination, remove the MacBook and iPad, attach the tripod, and you’re ready to go. - Comfort: The straps and padding work really well. I’ve hiked for several hours in hot weather with ~28 pounds of equipment and have not been uncomfortable. - Ease of use: It easily fits in the overhead compartment on an airplane. The internal dividers are easy to adjust and there are enough of them to create separate compartments. The handles on the top and side make it easy to carry. There’s a good size pocket for a large water bottle. CONS: - Just one nit: With two bodies, in the top and bottom of the bag, the fit is really snug on the side with the camera grip. It’s not so snug that you can’t get the cameras in or out, but it’s a deep bag (for pro gear) and sometime you have to rock the camera to get it in or out. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this bag. It’s the first one I’ve had that can carry two bodies (ready to shoot) with a wide selection of lenses, external flash, lots of accessories, MacBook and iPad.

It's big and beautiful
First off, you have to know that you are buying a bag meant to carry A LOT of equipment for a backpack. It's going to be big and it's going to be heavy. I cannot take stars away for that because that's its design. I need more time to do a thorough review, but here are my initial thoughts after an hour stroll with it packed with two camera bodies and three lenses: It's got the space for just about everything you could need outside of a studio light kit. My D500 and D810 fit like a bug next to the 70-200, 14mm 2.8, and 30mm 1.4 with PLENTY of room to spare. as always with Lowepro, the pockets siding is all adjustable, which is nice because I plan to make room for my 150-600 in this thing. The padding all around is hefty. I feel very confident about the quality of the material used. Stitching feels solid, the zippers are robust and don't catch, and the shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. Like I said, I only have an hour walking time with it. I'll come back when this thing hits the trails after a few weeks.

Nice, well built
Nice, well built, attractive and I can put all my lenses inside from Nikkor 200-500 onwards. Laptops 15",tablets and all accessories fits inside effortlessly. Theres no problem in taking it as a handbag but watch the weight.

Almost Fits The Kitchen Sink!
I'm very happy with the product I received, it fits a million things. Front Pockets, it's great for smaller things like a mouse on one side and perhaps a flash drive and pen on the other. The space isn't huge but it is functional. The front compartment, this area doesn't have as much padding as I would like and doesn't have much depth but it's great for a tablet and laptop. I currently store the iPad pro 12 inch, which fits great but when I place the MacBook Pro 15 inch in there it is quite snug. I have to apply some downward pressure and pull the top edges around the laptop. If you have anything even slightly bigger, it probably won't fit at all. There's a functional mesh compartment and a pocket for a flash drive, its great. The main compartment is excellent. The camera fits nicely and there are enough dividers to customize how your equipment fits perfectly. There are three spacious compartments with zippers for wires and other stuff and overall this is an excellent bag for the price. I'm happy to have it!

Capacity great, comfort less so
storage was very good and convenient but I think to much space allocated for computer, tablet etc. Could live with that but not the lack of comfort. I found this backpack the most uncomfortable I have ever worn. Did not sit right and did not feel right

Not made for tall people and the padding on the back is terrible.
I love Lowepro but this was a bad buy. The bag its self is a good quality bag on the inside but if your tall like I am ( 6'3" ) then I would get another bag. The problem is with the padding in the back of bag that is suppose to help your back. The bag is made for someone shorter because the padding will hit your back in the wrong place and will hurt your back after just a short time. The other problem is with the padding and how tightly packed it is where its at, it doesn't have the space to expand against your back and feels like 3 hard areas when its weighted down with your gear. And like i mentioned before if your tall then it wont hit the spots in your back where it was meant to and hurts after a short time of wearing it. I did keep it cause the bag is great for airplane travel but not for wearing out in the field or on location somewhere.

Came in good order.

This is on the bulky side. Please check the lens storage guidance before buying. I have used other Lowepro bags so not not the best from a design point. Once you put a standard laptop, the laptop compartment becomes extremely tight. You can only carry one portable electronic device in the Laptop compartment. Camera compartment is designed to hold short telephoto lenses using the width of the bag, this is not the best storage system for lenses, also increases the size of the bag due to this lens storage standard.

Very happy with the Lowepro Pro Runner BP350AW II Backpack. It holds my Nikon D750 with lens, a further 2 lenses, flash light pack, filters and other bits and pieces with still room to spare. The adjustable interior sections are also a bonus. My equipment is easy to get at and the pack is very comfortable when worn due to its substantial padding.
