3M Safety 8220-SW Cleaning Pad

I had tried many different dish sponges/cloths for years. Back in 2012 I found this one in the grocery store and LOVED it. It didn't get smelly and nothing sticks to it. And it lasts a very long time, about 8 months for me. As long as you wring it out after use it doesn't get smelly but if you leave it soaking in a pot of dirty dish water for more than a night on a really humid day, it might get a bit of a funky smell. Then you just rinse it off with dish washing liquid or put it in the wash and the smell is gone.When it came time to finally replace it, I couldn't find it anywhere, locally. So, knowing how great it was, I ordered 5 of them July of 2012 in fear that they would be discontinued or something like that. Well, after THREE years, it finally came time to purchase more. I just opened my last pack. Which means that I have gone through 4 sponges in 3 years. The only thing that causes a need to replace after about 8 months of use is that the inner foam, or whatever it is, ends up getting a bit flimsy but the outer part never lost it's ability to scrub tough grime, stay non-stick and remain soft on the other side.Well, when I went back to search my 2012 order for more I found that I actually paid $7.60 PER sponge. This time I ordered 4 for almost half of what I spent last time. The price is well worth it.The anti-stick and anti-"stink" factors make it worth the money. Nothing is worse than washing dishes with a funky smelling sponge...Yuk! Plus the fact that it last me and average of 8 months per sponge, Yah!Once you try one, you'll never go back to any other sponge. I just hope they never discontinue and wish they were sold locally.

These are the best- I suds the pad up with dish soap and it gets out most things on dirty dishes. They best part is, I throw them in the dishwasher (in the silverware basket) every time I run it, so it stays clean, and they don’t fall apart even going through the dishwasher many, many times!

Best sponge out of all the sponges I’ve used in my life. It has lasted the longest. I couldn’t find them anywhere after it was time to throw my last one away. Then I found it on Amazon but it is a little pricey for one sponge.

The perfect kitchen sponge! Lasts forever. Stays clean. Machine washable. Doesn't get disgusting/smelly. Retains detergent well. Does a great job at cleaning. They're super hard to find, and I'm so glad Amazon is carrying them. I suspect they would be much more popular (and much easier to find) if they were called "sponges". People read "pad" and don't automatically think "sponge", but this is what it is. However, it's also perfect for cleaning counters, etc.

I like these sponges. They last very long and nothing sticks to the sponge, like not even melted cheese. They are durable and lightweight.

First of all, I LOVE this product. This is the only kitchen sponge I used to buy. Now, 3M making exactly same thing but with boring simple solid purple color. I was shocked when I noticed that I ordered kitchen sponge I used to buy about $3 for 2. It was my mistake, but from the price, I was expecting something different. $4.49 for only one kitchen sponge??? $15.09 for list price???? No way!!!!I still like it because it's so much prettier compare to solid purple. But come on, it's a rip off!!

My grocery stopped carrying this product which is the only scrub pad I know of that does not have odors within days of starting to use it. it has always been my favorite

I got one sponge for $15!!! Is this a joke?! Love these sponges and have been using them for years, but the latest time I bought I noticed it no longer says how many you will get, but assumed it had to be a whole pack of them. Nope, I got one sponge for $15!!! This has to be a joke!
