SGEYR 4K HDMI Switch Box - 3 In 1 Out, Automatic Switching, HDR, USB Cable, For Laptop, PC

For me, connects BluRay player, FireStick & ASUS O!Play to one TV HDMI input.Auto-switches properly (but might not with AppleTV or other non-compliant source), and all without need for 5V PSU (though power lead is provided 'just in case').Like : ability to disable switch from remote, turns off LEDs; reliable auto-switching at power-on but with available remote to override/switch between sources without turning the sources off/on.Dislike : brightness of LEDs, especially at night/in a darkened room (a minor niggle - I managed to find suitable tape to dim them while allowing them to remain visible).Comparison v other manufacturers - as ever, other sellers supply switches that look identical, and may be cheaper or have more inputs, but may not be as reliable - based on price, this switch should provide years of service; wait and see...

The key thing for these devices is reliability. Generally speaking all HDMI switches will provide adequate quality provide decent cables are used. But I've found that they don't last very long. This one is priced somewhere in the mid to high point but so far it has been working fine to allow me to switch between different devices. The outer casing is metallic and the weight gives it a feeling of quality. However, time will tell if this lasts. It does require a power supply (everything is provided). Without it, devices will black out frequently. I bought this this Switch because I have only one 4 metre cable running from my wall-hung TV, and don't want to keep plugging the cable in and out of different devices manually. So, I have the unused devices switched off until needed. But when they are turned on, the switching works fine with the remote or the button on the box. It has a very bright red light at the front which is fine for me. Finally all the cables attach to the back so nothing to attach on the side of front which is good design.

Works well but things to bear in mind:1. You will need to supply a 5v USB power supply that can deliver 1A. My unit would not work at 4K 60fps without one.2. The led lights on the case are ridiculously bright and distracting and make it very unlikely you will place it anywhere visible, which means that you won’t have line of sight for the remote either which is therefore superfluous. Fortunately the auto switching worked seamlessly for me so hiding the unit out of sight wasn’t a problem.3. It works. A cheaper £10 3 way 4K switch I bought first did not work so you get what you pay for.

It's ok for the most part but you might come across some issues with it. So far these are the issues I'm having with this:PS4 - Picture gets noise interference like digital version of static and you have to turn off the monitor and turn it back on again to get rid of it. You might get this few times within the first hour of use but it will stop.Capturing device (Elgato HD60 S+) - I tried plugging PS4 into capturing device which connects to switcher which is then connected to TV but it cannot display anything. It looks like it is trying as the screen is flickering but nothing happens.Laptop (Dell XPS 15 connected to Dell D3100 docking station from which it is connected to switcher) - It works for a short while but the lose connection and comes back on, then goes back off. This began happening within few minutes of use and it quickly becomes unusable.HP Elitebook - My work laptop which is old seem to work perfectly.Overall it seem to work for somethings and not others. It seems like if you don't connect the device directly into it it won't work as evidenced by my attempts to connect PS4 via capture card and my laptop via docking station, having said that I do get that issue I mentioned when I connect PS4 directly in to it as well.Overall 2 star product.

After struggling for ages with a cheap HDMI Switcher which switched the signal off and on every second, I got fed up and decided to look into other options.I wish I had done that in the first place, because the HDMI Switch 2.0 SGEYR HDMI Switcher worked straight away with no problems at all.I have a Sony TV with only three HDMI connections, I have by 4K Blu Ray player in one and a Humax Freesat recorder in another.The third HDMI now has the switcher connecting a Firestick, PlayStation PS3 and also a PS4. The switcher is powered by a USB cable from the TV.No problems at all and I would highly recommend this device to anyone with similar requirements.

After purchasing and using this for around three months I would say that I needed to reset this product around 4 times. Resetting is simple, you just need to disconnect power and all HDMI cables and plug everything back in.The reason for this is that the picture wasn't being displayed on the TV, but I would recommend anyone to purchase this as i've had a few in the past but this product clearly is able to display in 4K and 60 frames which others cannot do at this price point.

This switch does work well, I use it to connect hdmi outputs from 3 video camera's to use on Zoom and Facebook live's. You then have to connect to your computer through a capture card (not Elgato). The only negative is that there is a 3.4 second delay when switching the output. I would like to find one with no delay if thats technically possible. When switching, depending how you have configured the microphone will determine if sound is maintained when the screen is blank. This is excellent value for a switch.
