these work great
Bought these for my son as a Christmas gift. He loves them. He said he can cool a stock pot of broth in less than 30 minutes using both of the paddles.

Learned about this product in a meeting at work. Was looking for something to use at home when I make huge pots of spaghetti sauce and other things to cool down before I put in the fridge and then store in the freezer. I was using ice packs. So wrong. I use it in addition to putting the pot in a water and ice bath. Sometimes it pays to go to work meetings (which this was mandatory for the food industry even though it didn't apply to my job). I learned how to cool hot items down without them destroying and spoiling things in my fridge and not make people sick from bacteria build up. If you are a home cook and make huge pots of soup, sauce, chili or whatever buy this product to help cool it down before you put it in fridge or freezer. Make sure you follow instructions. Another way to cool down fast is to put the food item in smaller containers that you are using to put in freezer or the fridge if you don't have this product or use an ice bath. Very happy with it and purchased another one for backup and on days when I am ambitious and make more than one pot.

Plastic Splits Open
This is a poorly made product. The plastic on both of them ripped open after several uses and freezes. Not restaurant quality. I also saw they’re not BPA free.

I purchased 2 bottles for cooling large amounts of sauce. After using them for 3 weeks they cracked. I would not recommend.
