Not as strong as the traditional claybar but super time effective. I pair it with an Iron Remover and it works amazing. Recommended if you hate the claybar process as much as I do!

Used it with a clay lube product here on Amazon. I did two cars and it held up. No complaints. This was my 2nd time using clay on any car. If the question is whether you should clay or not. then you definitely should. The car is so smooth and got back some of it's original car color back. My Tesla got smoother. And for my black 2011 SUV that I never clayed before... it restored it quite well. It's so smooth. I think if I buffed the car, I'd get it back to new car quality so I'll consider that. If you have those very lite scratches in your paint, then the clay bar won't get rid of those. That's something you need to buff out. If you run your hand on your car and it feels like speckles of sand paper even are there even after you wash you car and wax it... .then you need to clay your car. It took about 35 minutes. {update} After a few more applications, I came realize that using a clay lube product is not needed. You just need clean soapy car wash. So. I I've come to learn that you MUST wash your car first to remove as much debris as possible. Then rinse the car. So I'll use through away the soapy water, mix up a small fresh batch in a clean bucket and go in 5 foot sections. I'll apply soapy water with a clean wash cloth and run the clay bar back in forth in one direction in the section, then go back over the same area perpendicular to the angle I went through the first time. I'll run my bare hand over some areas to see if I feel if it's smooth. When done with that area, I'll wipe the area with the soapy wash cloth and rinse it off before moving onto the next section. That's why you don't want to do this work on a hot day. The water will just dry out too fast otherwise. After I'm done, I'll rinse the whole car and dry the car down. I find that finishing the car with an si02 spray applied with microfiber is the best finishing touch and make the car really sparkle. I don't wax anymore. si02 is all you need. I can see needing to do this 1-2 times per year. The jar this comes in is super cheap plastic. if choosing this vs another brand just cuz of the container.. don't bother. It's not worth it. This product did it's job and held up well.

It's definitely a clay mitt lol. I am not sure if it's better than a claybar mainly because my truck wasn't that contaminated for it to show me how well it pulled contaminants from the clear coat. I can say it left my truck soft and smooth. Seems durable also. Very easy to use. Just dip in wash bucket and wipe your vehicle. Keep it wet and keep your vehicle lubricated at all times and you won't Marr the paint.

The batch I got was kind of hard. Had to fight it. May soak in hot water to try and soften.

This mit feels high quality! I wasn’t expecting much at the price but this is the real deal. I’ve used regular clay bars before and this actually worked pretty similar to that. I have a Snow White pained car with the flakes in it so I’m used to iron being on my paint and the rear of my car gets pretty bad over time. I sprayed on meguairs spray clay/iron remover, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then dipped this mit in my regular car wash bucket with soap and this got 99% of the iron and other fallout off with one pass. You can hear it working and smoothing out the paint. I did have to do my back end one more time the same way and it got everything off 100% in the 2nd pass. I saw zero rubber or clay or whatever fall off while using it, like my last one did on first use. I’ll be buying this one again when it gives out.

Works great but needs to be well lubricated. The clay bar is a little on the hard side but effective.

Needed to clay wash my car before a ceramic coating. Does the job perfectly.
