Charge lasts twice as long as regular size battery's
I use these to power both a Panasonic PV-GS80 videocamera and a PVGS85. A charge lasts about 2 hours for recording or playback, about twice as long as the original batteries' do. One problem: These batteries won't recharge in the original chargers for these videocameras (though they seem to fit), but Kastar sells relatively inexpensive rechargers that do recharge them. Also, this battery is noticeably heavier than the original battery, which can be a problem when hand-holding the camera for a long time when recording--no problem if you can rest the camera on a fencepost or a tripod--but the extra shooting time more than makes up for that inconvenience.
