Runrig - City Of Lights [DVD]

Just to be clear, this negative review is for the DVD transfer. The music and content are fantastic (of course – it is Runrig!), but it is important to highlight for anyone considering purchasing this DVD, that the transfer has been messed up (see the image I have attached to the review).The colours are all washed out, the image is blurry and black borders surround the video on all sides.I purchased this DVD, hoping it would be of superior quality to my old VHS tape, but as you can see, it is actually the VHS that is miles better.It appears that the company responsible for transferring this to DVD has used an old VHS copy themselves, but has done no upscaling and actually messed up the aspect ratio and colours during the capture process. What a shame.Like I say, the music and contents of the City of Lights programme are fantastic – but stick with your VHS copy.

Good quality and sound

Runrig is my favorite music. For that all what Runrig release is a big must for me. Unfortunaltely there is not many new songs in the last years but this 2 dvd was not in my collection. I have seen Runrig this year for a 40 anniversary concert in Germany and it was incredible. I enjoy this music and also this 2 dvd and I wish that Runrig will bring new songs very soon. I wait for it.
