This is the second time iv bought these stakes. I use them to hold down my green house and chicken run canopy. They work amazing easy to drive into the ground and take out if needed.

These things are amazing. Eight heavy duty stakes for less than $3 apiece. They easily "screw" into the ground, and hold firmly.You must try these stakes if you are using a pop-up shelter for a semipermanent project, such as a cover for your wood pile. They hold up fine in strong wind; and by installing extra grommets on your top you can use the stakes to pull out all the low spots on the cover where rain or snow might accumulate.Take them camping. They unscrew out of the ground as easily as they went in. Use a stick or metal rod through the stake eye for extra leverage. Once the "fins" bite into the dirt, no downward force is needed. Simply turn the stake and it will drill itself into the ground.The package includes some mediocre cord. I recommend you purchase a hundred feet of quarter inch braided nylon cord. Better to have too much cord than not enough for various setups.Obviously you wouldn't want to use stakes on loose beach sand or on solid rock surfaces. Instead use sandbags or buckets of water to secure your shelter.NOTE: There are similar stakes on Amazon for more money. Honestly, I can't see why you would need anything stronger than these 3/8 inch thick solid steel anchors.

nice and sturdy, made an adaptor to screw them into the ground, but when it came to the rope , not long enough for all eight ,thats why the 4 stars. they hold well in my soil.

Easy installation, I made a tool from an old socket. I notched the socket to fit over the eye of the anchor. These used a cordless impact gun to install. Used these to secure a boat canopy near the coast in north Florida. Helped to hold everything secure during hurricane Idalia.

I have been looking for a solution to anchor a wooden swing set. My kids were young and light but they've shot up as middle schoolers and can easily unseat the legs of the swing set when the swing high. Unfortunately, I looked high and low for some way to anchor the wooden legs and couldn't find anything that I thought was going to work. My swing is in my yard so I didn't want to pour concrete with lag bolts. These work awesome and are rock solid. I put them vertically into the ground perpendicular to the ground. I originally thought about at an angle but was too hard to drive in. I used a hex wrench tool which was thick to act as a handle. I made sure the ground was wet after a good rain before I tried to put them into the ground which made it easier. Only hard part was moving the legs to the side so that I could have enough room to spin the head of the anchor around multiple times right next to the leg. After the anchor was in the ground I got lag screws and two washers per leg to attach it. Each washer going on either side of the anchor ring to stabilize and distribute force. Very happy with result.

One came broken. The part wasn't even in the bag so they packed it that way. They arrived in just a bag and an Amazon bag. Maybe they should package them better. Other than that they are good and work as they are supposed too.

Not bad, eigth pieces for under thirty dollars, these 15” anchors are good for medium duty applications,

We needed these to hold down our gazebo. We put them in the ground just slightly after winter had ended so the ground was pretty soft. We didn't want to use the rope because the holes were too small for the rope so we used zip ties. After we had screwed them down into the ground you cannot pull it up at all. Amazingly a day later we had another windstorm that came through and the gazebo didn't even budge.It has been about a month and we had some more storms come through and they're still stable and secure. The construction is of heavy metal, well coated so they would not rust. I would definitely buy these again if I had a need for more anchors.

Nice weight to the posts and good quality. Not an easy item to bend. Rope is soft and durable as well. I recommend buying this product.

I’ve used these ground anchors to hold down my boat shed and the extra UV protection cover against the winter winds. They work.

Six of these would not auger into the ground. Out of the eight anchors only 2 had the auger bite in the right location. The other six the auger bite was welded upside down. To correct it I had to bend an auger bite on the lower auger blade, and I used a file to sharpen a better cutting edge. Worked very well to them install.
