cant remotley hold zero
installed on the golden boy with a very light weight Leupold scope and it could not hold zero the rear only pushes on the reciver with a little screw that i had to modify to make it work, so yea it s wobbly will not hold, every time you take it out the bag at the range it will move and you need to re zero it. trash system, open sites on the golden boy are best

Not for henry big boy
Looks well built but sadly it doesn't fit my henry brass big boy 357

Slots are too far apart for most scopes.
Waste of $40. Well made, except there are only 2 slots machined into the top of the mount, so there is no flexibility for mounting a scope. I have the Golden Boy in .17HMR, and the BSA Sweet 17 scope. The slots on the mount are too far apart to mount rhat scope! Henry should have machined more slots. I ended up finding a Picatinny mount for all rimfire Golden Boys on ebay.

Mounting my scope
I didn't have proper brass/plastic tools, so had my gunsmith install it. Would have been easy to do with correct tools, except when removing old sight, it only hammers out in one direction, to the right, I believe it was. it is just what HENRY ordered. to mount my scope firmly!

Mounted 3-9x scope
Picked up a Vortex 3-9x 40 scope for our Henry Golden Boy .22. Also got corresponding rings. System was great first time use. Unfortunately we were indoors, at a 25 yard range, so couldn’t really site in hoe I would have liked, but great accuracy! My son is very happy, so am I. Should get him to the range more often, which allows me to go, ;)
