pleasing to see on counter
over all nice butter dish. the only thing I am not sure about is the handle might cause me difficulty if my hands are acting up.

It is a very heavy butter dish! That is why I gave it 4 stars. I wasn't expecting it to be heavy! Some would prefer this! But not really for me just because of that!

Really nice for company
I got this on time for guests, and it looks really pretty. I use it all the time and keep it out next to my toaster. I’m a little clumsy, and noticed if kept in the fridge and then left out, you have to be careful because condensation builds up and it gets slippery.

It is a little small
As other reviews mentioned, it is a little small for USA size butter. The lid hits the butter a little. Otherwise, it looks nice.

Good quality but far too small
We’ll made but only suitable for the smaller pre-cut slices. Too small to take a standard butter pack.

It will fit 1/4 of a pubs of butter. Cut it length-wise in 4 to fit a piece. I like like how it looks and it’s very sturdy. I expected it to be larger but am very happy with it.

Point faible de ce type de beurrier
Ce beurrier bien que bien solide et facile à manipuler a pourtant un défaut c'est que le couvercle se ferme sur le plateau du beurre donc plus sujet à se salir que si le couvercle se serait fermé à l'extérieur de la base

Narrow lid & butter gets stuck on sides
It’s a beautiful simple lead free butter dish. We like the quality but the lid is a bit narrow & butter gets stuck on the sides easily. You will definitely need to cut the butter up before placing it onto the dish if you usually purchase a 1 pound block of butter. It may be a hassle to some.
