Fantastic!
This kit is worth every penny. I work in mainly in residential service plumbing and use this kit on a daily basis. It heat's up the pipe very quickly. The great heat output quickly boils out small amounts of water and greatly speeds up soldering. The bag is also very handy as I can keep all of my soldering gear in one quick and convenient bag. I also think that it looks very professional and gives the appearance of a well equipped and organized technician which is something many customers expect. The flame shield that comes with this kit is extremely handy for tight spaces. The seller did a fantastic job. The kit arrived at least a week ahead of the expected shipping date. I did have one issue with the regulator as it leaked. However one quick email to the seller and they sent me a new regulator within a couple of days along with a return label, so I did not have to pay to ship the old one back. Fantastic customer service.I strongly recommend ordering a Turbo Torch T2 tip if you buy this kit. The tips included are too hot and have to large a flame to use on pipe that is in close quarters.

Turbo torch has a nice product the bag is meh!
I put photos of the manuals. The tip chart is something I needed before ordering but went on a limb and bought it. It’s good for soldering residential and most commercial copper pipe. I love the self lighting tips, long quality hose, solid regulator, and ability to swivel the tips. The bag is a homeowner version of what I really wanted but it’s a bag. I had to put 2” pvc in the corners to support this limp thing. I’ll be looking for something better to replace it because I’m a professional and I deserve better than this floppy thing. You should have a plumber design this bag for you so it works better.

Five Stars
very nice quality, maybe a bit to nice for the average home owner, but i like quality tools. After hundreds of feet of soldering i am impressed with the quality of this purchase. If you plan on doing a quality job and hundreds of fittings this is the torch set you need. makes it much more enjoyable with the extra whip length and small footprint of the heat. Use map gas and get it done fast. great product that has held up to pro use.

Quality Torch for MAPP & Propane Gas
I needed to braze a small hole closed in the corner of a steel Jerry can. I first tried using MAPP gas with my old Bernzomatic propane torch. As expected, it was a no-go. The flame was weak & not hot enough to melt the bronze brazing rod.Received the Turbo Torch STK-9 this afternoon, screwed it onto the MAPP gas cylinder, got used to adjusting the valve, and went to work. The owner's manual has some nice pictures inside showing the user how to adjust the gas flow to get a nice hot flame. As a total newbie with brazing (first time!), this torch made it pretty easy. It pumped out the heat, getting the steel sheet metal nice & red hot. The brazing rod flux & bronze core melted nicely, flowing into the pinholes. This torch practically screams QUALITY, compared to the much less expensive Bernzomatic torch I've used for years. It's heavy, but nicely finished.Glad I bought it!

This torch is on expensive side, but you pay for convenience
I am new to HVAC and I am DIY, not pro in this field. So, I was looking for something suitable for a beginner in brazing - Turbotorch was praised as such so here I am - I bought it and used it to braze 3/8 and 3/4 AC copper lines with it. First thing you need to understand - the temperature that Turbotorch generates is LOWER than what oxy-acetylene torch will give you. This leaves you no room for mistake with handling this torch - or you will overheat your valves. Yes, I know it may seem a bit counterintuitive but it is not. Lower T torch will require more time on brazing - if you dont keep it close enough to 3/4 line - it wont heat it up high enough to melt brazing rod material (I used 15% silphos rods). And the longer you are trying to braze - the higher the temperature is getting around the brazing point, water in wet cloth on your valve evaporates and the valve heats up beyond its limit and may get cooked. You may see a number of videos where torch is held 45° angle to the brazer join - I found it to be necessary to hold it 80-90° sometimes because it wont melt the brazing material otherwise. So, at the end - it works, and I accomplished everything I needed too, but it was a bit of a challenge. Another downside is the consumption of acetylene - with this torch MC tank was half empty after only 7-10 mins of total brazing (not continuous, in total). This torch burns a LOT of gas to maintain higher T compared to other air-acetylene torches, so there is that. The main pro is convenience though - your setup is light - only one tank, instead of two, the torch is self igniting, so you only need one hand to get it going. All is all, I think it is a bit overpriced, but there are no alternatives to this product if you dont want to use oxy-acetylene torch instead. For beginners like me - I strongly recommend using high-T thermometer on you valve as you are brazing the line. You put the t-probe on it, then wrap it in wet cloth and as you braze the line - you monitor temperature. My condenser unit valve had markings suggesting that its T limit is F250° and I made sure that T never exceeded F190-200°. If you see that it gets close as you braze - take a pause, let it cool off and then continue after.

Best torch ever
Easy to use. Torch head can be turned in many angles and still work fine. Bought this same torch thirty five years ago to plumb my house with. Decided to buy a new for the next thirty five years.

Another option
Another option for brazing/soldering work. Lighter setup using just an mc bottle in my backpack with this torch. Only limitation is tip size. I can braze 7/8 copper with this but it’s slower than I’d like. Still find myself grabbing oxy cet more often than this but this has its place.
