MEDcaDigital High Power BTE Hearing Personal Sound Amplifier

I have a need to increase the high tones and fit comfortably and this unit has done a great job for 3 months at which time it just stopped working. I am ordering a new one to replace the one the stopped working. It appears to me that the connection between the wire and the speaker disconnect. I would like NewEar to make available replacement wires instead of having to replace the entire unit. If anybody knows how to repair the wire please let me know. The sound quality is the best I have had with the exception to the break down

Can’t adjust volume down. People to loud then can’t hear tv. Won’t stay in ear. Don’t buy.

Was very pleased at first with sound quality and comfort, but it stopped working after just a couple of months.

For years, I used rechargeable hearing amplifiers to aid with my hearing. The drawback is that rechargeable batteries gradually wear out, and the hearing amplifiers needed to be replaced. I finally conceded that replaceable batteries were better, so purchased two of these NewEar digital BTE hearing amplifiers. With four modes of operation, these digital amplifiers are far superior to what I was using. They are small, fit well behind my ears, and the wire to each speaker is nearly invisible. For the cost, they are the best hearing aids available. Using them for about 6 or 7 hours a day, I've used one set of A13 batteries in just over a week Durability is still unknown, but they seem well-designed and if kept dry, should last a while. Very pleased with them... and, they don't cost hundreds or thousands of dollars!UPDATE: I've purchased six of these amplifiers after several months so that I would have a few spares. TWO of them are now dead. Because they are relatively inexpensive, I still consider them a good buy, but took off one star.SIX-Month UPDATE: Four of the amplifiers purchased during September and October of 2016 have failed. Of the four I've purchased in 2017, they are all working well. Amplification is improved so I can use them at lower settings. Hope these last!

These were larger than the $4000 mini's I tried for two weeks but not uncomfortable. The main difference was hearing "everything" louder! I find that I 'unplug' often just to get away from the incessant noise in the world. My hearing is bad enough that those who know me speak louder and those who don't get a hand cupped over my ear and a "what"? But New Ear lets me engage with most people in most environments. Really valuable at work with ghe boss and at meetings. Batteries last up to 2 weeks. I look forward to the day I can afford real hearing aids, but for now, and for the really good price, these have improved my quality of life abundantly.

A bit disappointed. The amplifier distorts the sound giving it a buzzier fuzzier frequency that makes discerning words difficult. Also the tubing is a bit short, so the device sits cockeyed and will fall off if I nod forward.

For the first hour it worked great. Had to tell my wife not to talk so loud and I turned the TV down!!! Then, 60 minutes later, nothing! Thought it was the batteries so I bought $15 bucks worth and still not working. Amazon refunded my money!CHEAP P.O.S!!!

I love the sound quality of this product. I realized how much I wasn't really hearing once I used it. The only draw back is I have small ears and the ear piece won't stay in my ear even with the smallest size. So unfortunately I can not use it.

1º No funciona bien,e gastado 6 pilas,tiene mucho ruido,los mandos no funcionan,mala coordinacion en los altos y bajos,son insoportables en sitios cerrados,no tienen la calidad que dice el proevedor,quiero devolverlos por su mal funcionamiento,solo lo e tenido 15 dias y ya los tengo que devolver,EXIJO UN REEMPLAZO DE LOS AUDIOFONOS MARCA MEDCA, UN REEMPLAZO DE DICHOS AUDIOFONOS,LO MAS PRONTO POSIBLE GRACIAS ATT MANUEL ESPADA GONZALEZ

Worked for a couple of days, then stopped working, quite annoyed, changed battery several times, would not recommend

j'ai reçu l'appareil mais c'est pas le bon, donc, j'ai demandé un retour il s'avère qu'i n'est pas éligible du coup,je vais être remboursé et Amazon me dit de garder l'appareil grand Merci AMAZON oui il y a du désordre dans la référence de ce produit l'on reçoit des modèles différent des uns des 'autres de cette même marque Ouf!! j'ai reçu le nouveau appareil cette fois cet le bon 'laide auditive est trés performante et son petit microphone relayé pat un petit fil qui vient ce loger dans le conduit de l'oreille avec un petit embout en silicone est très discret et presque invisible le décryptage de la parole avec cette nouvelle aide auditive numérique est parfaite qualité prix le top, je recommande pour les personne âgées sans hésité une seconde

Messo e dopo qualche aggiusto e’ stata individuata la configurazione ottimale. L’apparecchio è in copia ad un altro apparecchio il cui costo è 30 volte superiore, l’accoppiata è perfetta. Ne avevo presi altri qui e altrove, ma non sono andati bene come questo.Decisamente consigliabile, probabilmente prenderò il secondo per fare la coppia in modo da avere un buon bilanciamento anche del ritardo di elaborazione del singolo. Per ora la durata delle batterie è buona, come quella degli altri.

Estupendo aparato por ese precio, compré dos y uno de los 2 no funcionaba pero Amazon en menos de 1 hora me hizo la devolución y lo he vuelto a comprar. Funciona perfectamente igual que los modelos caros. Muy contento con la compra. He leído comentarios de que pita, claro que pita es un sistema de seguridad porque te está avisando de que no está puesto en el oído,y así no gastes las pilas sin necesidad. Y no porque funcione mal. Estupenda compra. Muchas gracias Amazon.
