NYDJWomen's Plus Size Ponte Marilyn Straight Leg Pant

The denim work better for me because I need sturdy for my job. I work in a produce department and walk five miles a day. I’m praying these work. They tend to slide down when I walk. NYDJ is my favorite brand of jeans!

This is the first time I have found these products on Amazon. The pants are adequate enough to keep, but the quality of material, the cut, even the clasping at the waist was of an inferior quality compared to NYDJ products I have previously purchased from a department store and gives me pause about the relationship between this sales outlet and the normal products.

these were a bit tight on me.. i’m a 16 and nydjs alsway say go down a size but i should have gotten the 16.. nice and long and love the soft knit fabric

I am happy to say that I like the color, the feel, the fit, and the look of these pants.

Great fabric and color--but really weird cut. I'm 5'4", and loved NYDJ before, but these pants have waaaay too much cut out for the thighs. I'm an apple shape--so they fit fine on top (24W) but the thighs stuck out a half inch on the side before narrowing to the knees. Looked like horseback riding jodphurs. Very odd. Couldn't do anything with them like a simple hem or something...would be major surgery to fix that problem. Sent back sadly.

Great fit, though a little long. Quick fix on the sewing machine.

This is my first experience with NYDJs, though I have wanted to tvie them a try based on multiple write ups the brand has had in the media over the years. I can definitely say these are comfortable jeans even if the cut isn't what I'm used to wearing. The fabric is soft and moves with the wearer without chafing or constricting in any way. They've been laundered several times since I first received them, and they still are one of my favorite pants to wear. They don't shrink, there has been minimal fading, no pilling, no fraying, no loose threads, no worn holes in the pockets, and not any wearing on the inner thighs from the dreaded "chub rub".Regarding the fit... There is NO way that the inseam on these pants is 31" as the cuff of the legs was past my toes. I am 5'6" and usually am okay with 'regular' sizes of jeans as 'petite' is about an inch too short, and 'long' is past my toes like these NYDJ pants. The pair or NYDJ pants I received had legs more like a pair of 'long' even though the inseam measurement is for 'regular' length. The thigh and waist portion of fit better, though there was a gap at the waist when sitting down. I know that there is not one pair of jeans that will fit every person out there, so it comes down to finding a pair that meets all your other criteria, buy those, then take them for alterations so they will meet all your criteria. After I had this pair altered, they fit better than pretty much any other pair of jeans I've owned. These are expensive, don't get me wrong, and you will end up spending more to get them altered, but in the end you have a pair of great quality, well made jeans that fit you perfectly.

That way, as I lose weight, I will have a pair to wear at each step. As they get too big, I donate them to a charity. Even if I never actually get to wear them, because I have lost weight too fast in some of the clothing.

I like the soft fabric, polished look that I can dress up or down and the slimming fit.
