I must admit I was skeptical that I could replace my cracked iPhone screen for just $30. The Apple store wants $150 and you have to make an appointment. Drive down to the store. Plus you are potentially handing over all of your personal information on your phone to a potential hacker. So with those concerns, I decided to try this option. I am handy fixing all kinds of things so that helps but the recommended Youtube video link that comes with your order confirmation email is very instructive.There are a lot of good tools that come with the screen and kit. You will power the screen back up after you connect it and test it before you close the case. Remeber to power back down before you close/snap your phone back together.Take your time and watch the video before you start and watch while completing each step with good lighting.It doesn't take great skills to complete, patience and following directions is the key.Love the results and I feel the iPhone 6 screen is faster responding than the original. The included and installed screen camera and speaker work great. It was easy to install my original touch button so can't comment on the touch button that came with the screen.

Item came defective and could not get a refund or replacement from Amazon.The seller reached out and replaced the item and it is working awesome.

I followed the instructional video that was sent and it was reasonably easy to follow, however, upon completion, the screen did not work (it was a black/blank screen) and that made the installation a waste of time. I have worked on phones before so I don't believe it was an error of my own, I even tried reinstalling the screen replacement to make sure I did not have any loose connections but the outcome was the same: blank screen. I contacted customer support for a replacement and I have yet to hear back from them. Personally, I would recommend buying a different brand replacement screen because of the apparent lack of quality control from this manufacturer, save yourself some time and a headache by shelling out a few extra dollars for a screen that works.Update:Amazon sent me a replacement, with expedited shipping which was great. I installed the new screen and it works great, it has no lag, and Touch ID still works (I transferred my original home button over to the new screen). The color of the replacement screen is different from the old screen, it has a much warmer color opposed to the original screens bright white, it reminds me of my old screw on night shift; personally I don’t mind it but I would’ve preferred a brighter screen. Overall for 30 bucks and a few hours of elbow grease I got what I paid for, and I think it was worth both the time and money.

Easy to install following the video. The screen has yellowing across the bottom and not as clear as the original but for the price, it’s still good.

The screen looks good -- the colors and 3D Touch feel close enough to the original. I was satisfied enough that I bought two more kits -- one for another repair, and one as a backup in case the price increases in the near future.But be prepared to take your time. It took me about an hour and a half to finish, definitely longer than the suggested 30 minutes. Transferring the ear speaker, front camera, and home button from the old screen takes patience, and aligning the waterproof seal is a bit tricky if you want to keep the water resistance.After getting through the repair, my daughter’s phone is back in action. If you’re comfortable with small parts and don’t mind a slow process, this is a good option to get a phone back up and running.

I’m a mom of an 11 years old, my son has my old iPhone 8 Plus, screen broke, I paid $110 to get the screen replaced at a repair shop and it ended up breaking again. I said hell no I’m not paying that again and bought this. I’m not even tech savvy but Jesus so happy I got it to work, just had to take my time, no interruptions from anyone and I’m good! Plus I didn’t have to buy other tools etc needed to fix this it all came with everything!
