The first catapulting may be a shock
The kit went together well. The first catapulting was autonomous, scaring a couple of children. The next catapulting was stopped only by a wall in another room and a poor old blind dog that didn't know what hit her who immediately decided outdoors would be a far safer bet. I expect things to begin to catapulted that didn't come in the kit. I'm going to have to put my foot down when food starts being ammo.

Much better than lego as they actually do something when made.Kids learn about something as they put it together.Highly reccomend for gifts!

Cool!
This thing is super cool! It launches the balls mega far and my 8 year old really likes it. He needed a bit of help constructing it, but could do a lot of it on his own. My only gripe is that it tends to fall apart in some areas after using it a bit. We launched a few balls and a piece popped off because of the stress the heavy duty rubber bands put on the catapult. We actually assembled it and walked away and when we came back a few pieces had popped off which is kind of frustrating. But otherwise, it is a fun STEM activity!
