Yes it is but it's better to have a storage tank as the pump will only run one third of the time. Between both of our farms we own two of these pumps and ordered one for the farm next door, no problems with all three. If you e mail the company in Canada they will promptly get back to you.

I am trying to find a submersible deep well pump to fit in what I believe to be a 3" casing. Any suggestions?

would this pump work for us? our well is 260 ft and set pump at 200 ft. we would like 20 gpm into a pressure tank set at 40 to 60 psi,

Yes, this pump works for the depth and the pressure you specified. It will pump 15 to 20GPM depending on the water table(set pump at 200 feet). If you know for sure that the water draw down level is less than 120 feet, we have another 2HP pump that could pump 20 to 23GPM. ASIN# B006OSS0CW . If you don't know the drawdown level, stick with the pump you were asking.

Where would the pump be coming from and is there any way to get Rush shipping

We currently offer 2 day shipping( called Expedited 2-3 days on Amazon) that can be chosen during check out. Amazon's estimated delivery date is very conservative, often showing 3 days or longer. The fact is that over 90% of Expedited shipments took 2 days while a small percentage took 3 business days(remote area). If you choose Expedited service, we will use either FedEx Express economy or UPS Expedited, both claimed to be a 2 day service. If you want overnight service, you have to call us at 604-528-9060 to pay for the extra on top of what you have paid for the shipping. Note that the overnight shipping is about 2-3 times of the price of a standard shipping.
