Had reports in our neighborhood that people had transmitter is trying to break in and steal cars. Tested my key fob and you could use it anywhere in the house. Got this box and it works perfectly does not transmit blocks of signal small size decent sits right on an end table next to the door very happy about the extra security and sweetness of the design.

I tested this box right away, as a threat protector against someone scanning our fob from a distance. It does work. I locked the car, waited a few minutes, then put the fob/keys into the box, closed it tightly (see more on that) and walked to the car. It would not open. I then took the fob/keys outside, got in the car, reinserted the fob/keys into the box, closed it tight. And the car would not start. My only gripe is the front latch, you really don't need it, I'll probably remove it. You just want an RF proof box, it doesn't have to be able to survive lunar exploration or deep sea diving. Also, you have to close the box all the way, if you just drop the lid it doesn't work, and the box is sort of tight to get open and closed, but hopefully it does loosen up over time. Overall, it works.. and it's inexpensive for a good piece of mind.

Works as described. Protect the key fob signal from being broadcasted. Very easy to use, and appeared to be well-made. You can easily fit 4 key fobs, if not more.

I put my key fob in this box and closed and latched the lid. I walked out to my vehicle and the door would not unlock. I unmatched and opened the lid and my vehicle door unlocked. This box works!

The box works as described and fits both key fobs with keychains attached to them. It very sturdy and easy to use. The lock adds an extra level of protection to ensure the lid is closed tightly

I bought two of these boxes, and I just received them the other day. My vehicle is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that uses a keyfob. For my vehicle, I keep the keyfob in my pocket and can open and lock my doors and back hatch by touching the door or hatch handles. In addition, when I start my vehicle by push button, and my foot is on the brake, the vehicle checks to see if the keyfob is inside the vehicle. If it is not, then the dashboard will display "No keyfob in vehicle", and not start the vehicle. I put one of my keyfobs in one of the boxes, closed it up, and tried to open the doors and the hatch. As I was trying to open the doors and hatch, I rotated the box in various directions, but was never able to open the doors or hatch . I tried this with both boxes, and I was unable to open the doors or hatch with either box. So I opened up the top of one of the boxes, with the keyfob in it, and I was easily able to open up the door with no trouble. I then tried to start the vehicle with the keyfob inside the fully closed box, which was inside the vehicle. Again I rotated the box, while repeatedly trying to start the vehicle. No luck, the vehicle would not start. I open up the box and tried again, and the vehicle immediately started up. So in summary. The box (actually both boxes) I bought works exactly as described. It is a nice size, well made, and a reasonable priced. It works perfectly for my vehicle and keyfobs.

We store our spare keys and remotes in this box. If I take the closed box full of my car keys near my vehicles I am unable to open the cars. Exactly what I wanted!

I purchased two. One for the spare key fob and one for the main key fob. This little box sits on a shelf near the door and looks attractive, nice and tidy. I have only had it a few weeks but it seems to work as advertised. If I have the key fob in the box and walk right up to the car, the door remains locked when I put my hand in the door handle. I open the faraday box and now the door unlocks when I put my hand in the door handle. So .. it does seem to totally block out the signal being sent by the key fob, which is exactly what it is supposed to do. I am satisfied and may in fact buy more as gifts for others. It does LOOK nice and tidy on the shelf too which is a bonus.
