This is a solid and sturdy press for making smash burgers on a flat top. The size is just right for a 3 or 4-ounce patty. Works perfectly and comes with a wonderful seasoning on the iron.

I love this - I HATE thick burgers, so thought I’d buy this. Burgers cook quickly. I was stupid and put it in the dishwasher and it rusted a bit, but I got it clean. That’s my problem lol. Very sturdy. I have to store it in a cabinet as it’s a little bulky, but that’s fine. Love it!! Definitely buy it if you like skinny burgers lol.

Great for making smash-burgers. I think the handle design could be better - it's too easy to touch the iron at the ends and burn yourself. Still happy with it, just had to learn to be more careful.

This press is wonderful. I'm able to do six Smash Burgers on my griddle, effortlessly.

I love homemade burgers even more now that I have this little helper to keep patties flat and cooked to perfection. I just put a bit of butter on the griddle, plop the ball of meat on it, put a sheet of parchment paper over it, and use this press to smash it down and hold it down. Burgers get cooked very efficiently with this method- the outside of the resulting patty gets a good sear before the inside gets overcooked. It's cast iron, so it should last forever with proper care. It cleans up easy. Don't know why it took me so long to get one, but I'm glad I did.
