Great filter at a good price - Love having these on auto ship!
We have these on auto ship because they work so well! We have a whole house filter but the filters that came with it were more expensive and did not seem to work as well. It's so nice to have them on auto order because that way when it's time to change the filter, we know! We get our water from a spring so it is not potable (can't drink it without filtering). We have seen a lot less junk in the water since using these.I do still use a reverse osmosis water filter for drinking water - especially since the last time we changed the Culligan filter, we found a dead minnow!! YUCKY! But that being said, the water coming into the house through the shower is much cleaner and I have to clean the shower much less often.

Expected it to remove smell and taste but not so much.

Exact replacement for Dupont 10” 800 series 2 phase 5 micron
Exact replacement for Dupont 10” 800 series WFPFC8002 that seems impossible to find. Looks like an identical filter to Dupont. Don’t waste time on the off brands. Despite their claims to fit any 10”x2.5” filter housings, the 10” Golden IcePure did not fit our Dupont valve-in head whole house filter WFPF38001C. 4 non-fitting cartridges in the trash

A great filter for a whole house filtration system, specifically for sediment and taste
I have been using these filters for years, never had a bad one, and based on the whole house system I have, I only have to change once a month - easy peasy!! :)

It was the right length
I had ordered a box of 4 filters last summer but when I tried to put a new one in it was to long to compress the o-rings of the cover bowl.. Although both filters are for a Dupont filter, I ones I ordered this time were the correct length. It's less than 1/4 in. it made the difference..
