Snapwords Numbers & Colors Pocket Chart Cards

SnapWords, by Child1st, has been my absolute favorite piece of curriculum that I purchased for my dyslexic daughter this year. She has been struggling with basic phonics for 4 years. And within 1 week of snapwords...she can recognize that set of words without even seeing the pictures. We usually spend the 1st day going over what the word is, and how the picture pertains to it. Then go over them with the pictures a couple days. Then she likes to see how fast she can do them...so we time her, just for fun. Then when she has them easily, we'll flip them over, and practice them on the side without the pictures. She recognizes them perfectly. We literally go thru a stack a day...and master it by the end of the week. I cannot say enough GREAT things about these cards. Their entire line is awesome. I'm sure they'd work for any child also, but for our dyslexic/visual kids....they have just been a gift from God. Don't hesitate to buy a set of these to try them out...when they work...buy more sets!!!

Great for intervention groups!I wish I had known about these flashcards sooner. The pictures and motions are perfect for visual and kinesthetic learners. I always show the front and back so my students are not relying solely on the visual aspect.
