I wanted some battery operated lights so I could place them anywhere without needing a socket, especially in the bathroom where I wanted to use one as a night light. I also wanted them to be motion activated. There are lots of lights that match that criteria on Amazon, but I also wanted 2 other things: They needed to be rechargeable so constant battery changing wasn't an issue, and I'd like them to be colour changeable too as white light is not good for the eyes at night. These lights are brilliant, they're rechargeable, they change to one of 8 colours (I use red in the bathroom, as it's perfect for sleepy eyes), and they stick anywhere magnetic, or anywhere else using the sticky metal back-plate provided. Charging seems to take around 2 hours from flat, and 3 weeks later they're still going strong. That might not seem like a long time, but previous battery operated lights would usually die after a week with the amount of activation in my house. The motion sensor works really well and the light activation lasts for 30 seconds. I'm going to buy some more for a few other places, like under-stairs cupboard and boiler room, etc. Some improvements could be made however: the 30 seconds activation time could be changeable 15 - 30 - 60, for example, and if I walk into the bathroom and it senses me and turns on, if I then switch the main room light on, the light sensor should detect the light and immediately switch off it's own, which it doesn't. But they're small niggles that don't really affect their overall performance, and I'm completely satisfied with these great little lights.

Bought these to put behold a statue in a cubed shelf. And the colours are lovely. I have to charge after every use, but I do have them on for at least 4hrs a day. They come in a pack of 2 so I rotate them. I have then switched permanently on, however the sensor setting works great too, if you wanted them for your children’s room, or in the bathroom so you don’t have to have the main lights on.

I bought this device as a night light for my bathroom. It is very neat and compact and easy to fix up using the self adhesive mounting pad. The mounting pad is a thin steel disk with a 3M adhesive backing which I imagine would stick to just about anything. The light itself has a small magnet inside the casing which then enables it to magnetically attach to the mounting pad and which of course makes it easy to remove and recharge when necessary. I have only had the device for a week so I do not know yet how long the battery will last, this will of course depend upon how often the light triggers but since it only comes on when the room darkens (the sensor is light sensitive) I expect it will last some time between re-charges. The case is made of translucent plastic so that the light glows through the casing. There is a small presence detector in the middle of the fitting which seems to work reliably although I found it only worked when facing forward. So, for example, I wanted to mount the light under a wall hung cupboard a few inches from the floor so that it was invisible but illuminated the floor. This didn't activate the on sensor and I found that I had to affix it to the wall in a vertical position in order for the on sensor to trigger. Not a major issue but a slight irritation. The light is just a glow but certainly adequate for a night light and provides a pleasant coloured glow in my darkened bathroom. The main reason for 4 rather than 5 stars, and a product failing in my view, is that once triggered the light only stays on for 10 seconds after which it is necessary to wave at the sensor to trigger it again. I find this rather inconvenient and given the relative attention to design detail that the manufacturer seems to have otherwise taken it is a puzzling failing. I appreciate that they are trying to minimise battery recharging but 10 seconds ON is useless. Finally, the 2 lights (I bought the pack of 2) comes nicely packed but is it really necessary to provide 2 usb charging cables? This is wasteful and since they assume you already have a charger why provide any (also they are very short so probably not even practical to use in many cases).

This is an excellent and well built product. It needs to be mentioned that the motion detector light activation, (naturally), only works in the dark meaning the product also comes with a light detector which is another plus point of the product not mentioned in the description. Do not think the motion sensor option is broken because it fails to operate in daylight conditions!

Better than I expected! All the functions work well! Battery life is great! I have it in a high traffic area and going on 6 weeks still didn’t need to charge them! The motion sensor is very good and I love love that you can change the colour of the light in motion sensor mode - say you can have the light green on sensor mode rather than just warm white. The brightness is good, but extremely bright, it’s just right for a night light! The only thing is that I’m kicking myself now for not buying more!! Would definitely recommend if they become available again!!! Then I’d buy more too!

I put one on the skirting board at the top of the stairs and it lights up when I get about half way upstairs. I have the other one in the bathroom and it lights up as soon as I enter the room. It does need to be in total darkness to work. Nice quality of light and good choice of colours. Love the fact that it's chargeable and I don't need to buy batteries. The only downside is that I don't want to stick it on any of my walls in case it damages them so at the moment the one in the bathroom sits on a shelf and, being circular, it rolls quite easily and has fallen onto the floor a couple of times. This is a very minor annoyance though and on the whole I'm delighted with the lights.

Ho comprato le lampade della SingHong per utilizzarle come luci notturne e per illuminare l'interno di armadi e cassetti. La confezione comprende: 2 lampade a LED RGB; 2 cavetti micro-USB; 2 dischetti di metallo con adesivo 3M pre-applicato; 1 foglietto delle istruzioni e garanzia. Dopo circa un mese di utilizzo, posso constatare che le lampade: + Sono caratterizzate da un'ottima qualità costruttiva e da un design gradevole; + Sono delle "luci da compagnia" pertanto l'intensità luminosa non è molto forte ma risulta più che sufficiente per rischiarare l'interno di un armadio; + Sono anche delle ottime luci da atmosfera, infatti sono dotate di LED RGB che producono colori gradevoli e uniformi. Il colore scelto viene salvato in memoria; + Sono dotate di batteria interna ricaricabile con cavetto micro-USB, proprio come se fossero degli smartphone, il che è una gran comodità. È un mese che le utilizzo e non le ho dovute ancora ricaricare; + Sono dotate di base magnetica, perciò possono essere facilmente staccate dalla parete o dal supporto per essere utilizzate come lampade portatili; + Hanno 2 modalità di funzionamento, ovvero sempre acceso oppure con attivazione tramite sensore di movimento. In quest'ultimo caso le lampade si attiveranno soltanto quando verrà rilevata la nostra presenza e soltanto al buio. Il sensore è molto preciso e reattivo. Dimensioni misurate: diametro = 7,4 cm altezza senza considerare il sensore di movimento = 2,7 cm altezza considerando il sensore di movimento = 3,3 cm Colori impostabili: 8 bianco caldo; rosso; arancione; giallo; verde; azzurro; blu; viola.

Für diesen Preis sollte man mehr erwarten können jedoch funktionieren diese wenigstens teilweise wie man es sich vorstellt. Jedoch die Akku-Laufzeit stimmt überhaupt nicht mit der Beschreibung überein denn nach nicht einmal 4 Wochen musste ich die erste der beiden Leuchten erneut aufladen . Desweiteren wäre es schön gewesen wenn man die Helligkeit noch etwas dimmen oder auch Heller einstellen könnte da sie meines Erachtens in der Nacht doch noch ein wenig zu hell sind wenn mann noch verschlafene Augen hat.

Molto carine e ben fatte nel complesso. Unico aspetto poco pratico: l’interruttore on/off è posto dietro, dunque di notte non è di facile accensione. Per mia figlia di 7a sarebbe stato di gran lunga più comodo, di notte, poterla accendere con una pressione sul lato frontale.. Dunque non risponde all’uso per cui le ho acquistate. Nonostante ciò, di buona fattura, adesivo potente, colori vivaci e decisi. La carica dura non poco.
