It's a surprisingly delicious and satisfying tea specially for autumns or on rainy days!
I could clearly taste wet wood, natural leather, wood smoke, cherry juice and seafood Umaminess found in unroasted Japanese green teaThis was the first Hojicha l tried and l knew this would be a top quality Hojicha.I am a big dark Oolong drinker. So l can tell This top grade Hojicha is similar and highly compatible cheaper alternative to expensive dark strip Chinese Oolong. It is even smoother, more balanced and less intense and astringent with much lower cafein.I drop 1 star because there was a lot of dust and fractioned leaf specially toward end of the bag.

Lovely subtle tea
What a lovely tea, it really grows on you! One might think its expensive, but you get 3 cups out of one portion so its not expensive at all!PLEASE when is the tea in the tin (ASIN: B07W57YWKF) coming back. We love the loose tea and rather not use the tea in bags
