The media could not be loaded.  I highly recommend these candles . They look like a real candle. My remote control did not work, but I contacted them and they will be sending me a new one. They responded fast. I will be ordering more, great price, great customer service, fast delivery. If i could give 10 stars, i would. I am very happy with this product.

I'm a Buddhist. It is a part of my daily spiritual practice to offer incense, fruit, water and light candles. I chant and pray from 15 minutes to an hour twice a day (sometimes longer), and I have candles burning the entire time. With that being said, I had grown weary of constantly buying candles and scraping wax from my altar after several years. I also have asthma so I thought it would be best for my health to not have actual candles burning all the time. The last box of traditional candles I ordered, most of them came cracked and dripped pretty badly (they were supposed to be no-drip candles), so I decided to give these battery-operated candles a try.The candles came in a timely fashion and in good condition with no damage. They are made of wax so they look and feel like real candles. They do have a nice flickering effect, however, they are not as bright as I would like them to be. They are not nearly as illuminating as traditional candles, even with the brightness turned all the way up. I think they are only meant to be seen from afar. The "flame" doesn't look that great close up when sitting before them at my altar. I do like the pillar shape of the candles. Since I typically have candles burning for a long time, I like that they have a remote with a timer option. They don't fit in my candleholders snugly but they don't fall over.I probably won't return them, as they are serving the purpose for which I bought them, I just wish they were brighter and looked a little more realistic close up. I think they would look nicer if the light inside were a lighter color than amber. I also think they are expensive for what you get.I wouldn't say don't buy these candles, but rather, manage your expectations depending on what you are using them for.

I really like these. The outside wax on the candle is real, has a realistic texture and doesn't have those weird shapes at the top meant to look melty that just make tapers look fake because they're all identical. My set arrived with no manufacturing defects and looked great right out of the box.The wick movement is gentle and doesn't have a clicking noise that some other lower cost versions of similar products have (the sound of the plastic at the bottom of the flame striking against the inside of the candle). Nice color to the fake flame, definitely on the golden side of the spectrum. Push button on the bottom of each taper to turn off and on; remote and timer works just fine.The only thing I don't like is that the hard white plastic bottom of the candle is totally rigid. Without any give at all, it can be hard to get them to stand up in some candle holders without either the white plastic being visible or a container's worth of candle "stick'em" at the bottom. My other flameless tapers don't have this issue because they are either shaped slightly differently at the base or they have silicone-like bottoms that adjust.

These are beautiful candles. I received them in a very hot day with no damage. They are wax I believe so they will not be perfect smooth but I find them very realistic. They take two AA batteries not included and work off a simple remote. They have a timer which makes these perfect. A great gift idea.UPDATE. once you put these on a timer at lets at 5pm. Everyday at 5pm they will turn on again. So this is a nice way to have light on when your home or away and it’s safe. Also I have had these over a month and the batteries are still going strong. I love these candles and will be buying more for Christmas gifts.

I have lots of battery operated candles. Most of mine are Luminara which I purchased some years ago. I was a bit skeptical that these would offer the desired real-flame-look effect. I also doubted I wanted a remote, but what the heck, I tried them. I LOVE these candles! The remote, which I thought would probably end up in a drawer is now a favorite feature. It works great and is SO handy when you sit on the couch with the rain coming down and just want a little atmosphere. Awesome!!

I put these in my favorite candlesticks on the mantel and they look great. So realistic my adult daughter suggested I don't forget to "blow out the candles" before she went home!Bonus: I also have a pillar candle with a similar remote and discovered i can use either remote turn all of them on/off., So I don't need multiple remotes laying around.The "flame" is so realistic! It flickers and dances around, unlike earlier models of flawless candles. Worth the extra cost. I will buy more - for myself and for gifts.

I bought these candles to replace real candles that I never light because of safety concerns. These look very beautiful when lit. The remote functions properly. I haven’t and probably won’t use the timer. As previously stated, these are beautiful when lit; the flame has a nice flicker to look natural. When unlit, these, like other brands, look fake with the plastic flame. Overall, I am very pleased with them though. Great customer service too!

The candles work just as advertised. Silent with a flickering moveable wick. The problem is the delivery service used by the distributor. It did not that it would take a week to 10 days. At 10 days the tracking had never budged. At 2 weeks I did not know what to do. I was at our local post office for something also and the clerk asked if I wanted to take my package before they returned it! So it had been delivered 6 days previously to there. No notification to me. It said it was to come by a delivery service - not by mail. Very frustrating.

These candles are stunning, love the soft amber glow, and they look indentical to candles that burn, I bought a second set!
