Vibra-TITE12250 122 Oil Tolerant Removable Anaerobic Threadlocker, 50 ml Bottle, Blue

I’ve used standard Loc Tite for years to mount optics and accessories on my rifles. From now on I’ll be using this stuff. I don’t have to wonder if I’m using the right color. And I know I can dis-mount a set of scope rings and re-install them without heat or excessive force required. It’s likely the perfect solution for that application given the stress these types things are put under.

I have used most of the other lock type brands over the years and this one seems to be the best. I really like the bottle design. It has a hard time clogging up. I give it to all of my employees to use it set up and you can tell it is working within 30 seconds of putting the bolt in.

Shipped half filled for a reason, the air KEEPS it from setting up/hardening. Same bottle as the competitor, just as effective. Loctite 242 is quite popular as the standard blue medium strength, but the parts need to be squeaky clean to bond. 243 will tolerate some oil contamination and still set, and this is VibraTite's answer to that. Good medium viscosity that doesn't drip, a dab'll do ya.

This is one of the best threadlockers I've ever used. It performs exceptionally well and is oil tolerant, making it perfect for gunsmithing tasks. I've found it to be reliable and effective in securing components. I highly recommend this product to any gunsmith looking for a dependable and removable threadlocker.

The vibra-tite thread locker is great for scope mounts or any other things you might need to take apart in the field without having it with you to reapply. Since it stays soft it doesn't let the threads come loose but still allows you to remove and put back on once or twice before needing to be cleaned and reappled

Definitely keeps fasteners from working loose. Other brands I’ve used didn’t provide as much resistance to allowing fasteners to break loose, and after that initial break free, they seem to do nothing. This vibra tite takes a bit more force to break loose and provides firm resistance all the way off, and seems to be effective for multiple disassembly and reassemblies. Others need to be reapplied every time. It also has a thicker consistency than others I’ve used, that seems to help it fill the spaces in the threads better and doesn’t drip off. It essentially makes a normal nut function like a nylon style lock nut.
