Pleased with the multimeter, bought it to replace an older model. Multi function, easy to use.

I am not an electrician but have done a lot of wiring and rewiring work for for sockets and lighting etc. My old power tester which lasted for many years was just a negative and positive prong and a light that came on if power was running. No fancy dials or measurements which I am sure would be required by an electrician in their job. This eventually packed up after fantastic service over the years. Was now looking for something similar just to confirm if power was or was not running through any wiring but struggled to find a similar up to date product. Bought new testers but just found all of them over complicated for my needs but again saying they are probably what an electrician needs. Anyway was hopeful of this product as looked very basic but in a good way as all I wanted was a simple power tester. Only used this once and first the only downside I have found (though minor) was fitting the batteries. You do this with a twisting cap at the bottom of the unit and firstly it says on and off. I personally find this misleading as it should say open and close. Then the actual cap is badly designed as cannot be gripped by fingers to open and close and you will need something like long nose pliers to undo it. You can now put batteries in (supplied) and close again and from now on it is all positive . In use it is exactly what I want though it does do some other readings that would prove useful to an electrician. It is compact and light and easily used when up a step ladder or ladder with a very good idea of a small light that can be turned on and off that you can focus on the job you are doing. Simple controls that you can use while you are doing your work and for the reason I wanted it you just push sliding control to V and then use select to go between DC and AC and get your reading on the screen. Clearly showing info you want on a good sized screen and in my case showing roughly 240 volts as a reading but as I said more readings can be obtained for people wanting more detailed readings. Final thing to say is negative lead slides slides up and down in it’s holding place to release it or put it back. The positive and negative prongs have removable plastic protectors to get a better contact with what you want to connect to or test. On just one use it really seems a five star product but perhaps I am a bit hard on knocking it back to 4 stars for the difficulty of loading batteries and in my opinion badly designed cap to hold them in place. A final thought and as a whole the English instructions on this product are very good apart from the labelling of the cap. Other Chinese manufacturers should hire or use someone who can translate Chinese into near perfect English for your instructions and leaflets, considering the size of the market you are aiming for.

Well made and straight forward. The screen is large, back lit and and easy to see even in not so well lit spaces. Nice small and compact and beats cary around a large multimeter.

Disliked having to select between AC & DC, unit not backlit & difficult to see what has been selected on the screen. Poor quality switch which has already failed within 2 months

I recently purchased one of these, my previous multimeter was giving false results so looked for and decided on this model. Mainly because when finding I need to use a multimeter in awkward locations, three hands are required, one each for the probes and a third to hold the meter in a readable position. This meter having one probe fixed to the meter gets around this, plus it has a hold feature so when measuring difficult to reach places, the reading can be held until the meter display can be read. The light for spotlighting the points to be measured is also useful.

Ich benutze dieses Multimeter im täglichen Einsatz als Kundendienst-Techniker. Dafür ist es maximal ausreichend, leicht und bezahlbar. Das ist mein 2. dieser Art von diesem Hersteller. Das erste hat 4 Jahre gehalten. Das ist ein sehr guter Wert, vor allem wenn es immer in der Werkzeugtasche liegt. Aber das macht es für ich auch so praktisch. Wiederstand messen, Kreutzmessung bei Durchlauferhitzern, Durchgangsmessung. Das ist ales was ich brauche, einschl. Beleuchtung. Und wenn man mal vergisst das Ding auszuschalten, das macht es nach ein paar Minuten von alleine. Ich weiß dass es deutlich bessere, genauere und deutlich teurere Messgeräte gibt. Aber die wirfst du nicht einfach mal so ins kleine Schwarze, mit dem ich 99% aller Kundendienst-Arbeiten erledige.
