These Pasonomi X9 Plus earbuds are absolutely fantastic!!
These Pasonomi X9 Plus earbuds are absolutely fantastic!! They have excellent sound, good heavy bass without muddying the mids and highs and incredible volume, with a charging case that can double as an external battery for your other devices. All this for less than $30? Really?! Folks, this is a no-brainer. Get them, and I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do. I tested about 10 other brands in the $20-$35 category, stemmed and non-stemmed, large, small etc. and these are easily the best sounding of the bunch. Pasonomi has really impressed me with their great sounding and budget friendly offering. If you would like more context on my budget-friendly wireless earbuds quest and what brought me to these Pasonomi earbuds, please continue below.First, let me provide a little background. Until now, I have always preferred the sound of the wired headphones to Bluetooth, in part because wired headphones have been around forever. As a result, they are well-established technology and very easy to find. There are vast varieties of headphones, in different styles, sizes and colors. There are headphones to satisfy virtually every taste you can imagine. Because of this, it is not too difficult to find a really good pair of headphones for very little money. By contrast, in my experience, Bluetooth headphones tended to cost more, and, at least for the headphones I tested, never seemed to have the same sound quality as the wired versions. Now, I understand that there were probably some very good sets of Bluetooth headphones available for a premium price. But, I was not willing to spend $200 - $300 for a pair of headphones that I was going to be using indoors and outdoors, for exercising, cutting the grass, working at my desk and everything in between. I needed good quality (sounding) headphones that were durable and inexpensive, in case they got lost or damaged as a result of all of the use I gave them. Because I use headphones in virtually every aspect of my life, I have sets of headphones in every place I frequent. There are sets at home, sets at work, sets in the car, etc. As a result, I never had to worry about bringing headphones with me wherever I went, because I had them everywhere I spent any significant time. For years, I delayed upgrading my cell phone because I lamented the fact that headphone jacks were removed from newer models. Upgrading my phone meant I would have to find an alternative to my wired headphones. When I did finally upgrade my phone, I set out to try and find similar quality and value in a Bluetooth/wirless headset.Fast forward to today. Let me begin by saying that I have tested about 10 different earbud models over the last two weeks. I started by trying to do some research on what was available and to see if there was any consensus on brands, styles, sizes, colors, features, etc. What I found was both reassuring and frustrating at the same time. I quickly discovered that there are literally tons of different options available out there, and more being added every day. So, this was a good sign that, like the wired headphones, many more options meant that the odds of my finding a quality pair of earbuds at an affordable price were better than I thought initially. Unfortunately, for the budget conscious consumer, there is no real consensus about the “best” wireless earphones out there. Oh, there are tons of videos and articles evaluating earbuds. And there even seems to be some similarity of opinions when you are talking about the best earbuds available, when price is not an obstacle. Brands like, Apple, Sony, Sennheiser, etc. all seem to be in the mix when talking about the earbuds that people most want and set the standards by which all others are measured. Unfortunately, they are also extremely expensive. The price alone makes them prohibitive for most people. So what we find is that the articles and youtube videos begin to evaluate the earbuds based on certain price points. You’ll see plenty of evaluations of the best earbuds under $100, or $50. Providing these evaluations based on various price points is, of course, helpful. But what I found was that when they say under $100, it generally meant units that were either $100 or right below. The same standard seemed to exist for the evaluations of the best sub $50 earbuds. And while $50 may not seem like much money to the true audiophiles or people who don’t mind spending money on technology, it is still a good chunk of change to spend on items that I want to keep in my car, in my house and at work. Just like I did with my wired headphones, I want to have them accessible for my use at all of the places where I spend a great deal of time and I do not want to have to remember to carry them around with me at all times. Plus, at some point, I’ll need to be buying sets of earbuds for my children and wife as well. So, as you can imagine, $50 a pop adds up very quickly when you are talking about buying 6 or 7 sets of earbuds. As a result, ideally, what I really needed was a good quality set of earbuds that were more in the $25-$35 range. Unfortunately, there do not seem to be many articles or videos targeting earbuds at that price point. Oh, you’ll find a mention of a $35 (on sale) set in some of these evaluations, but they tended to be the exception rather than the rule. So, I set out to find a pair of earbuds that would work for me, both in terms of sound quality and price.I tested at least 10 different sets after reading hundreds of reviews online. Since I could not hear them before ordering, I decided that I would not order any earbuds that averaged less than 4.5 stars. As a result, I tested earbuds from MPow, Aukey, Enacfire among others. Despite the positive reviews, a few (that will go unmentioned) were just downright terrible. I could not believe people were so favorable in their reviews when the earbuds had extremely muffled sounds with no real clarity. That does not even take into account the earbuds that kept malfunctioning in different ways, never holding a connection. Several other sets were quite decent and, until I tried the Pasonomi earbuds, thought I would be ok with them. They did not “wow” me, but the sound quality was decent enough for me to be ok with keeping them. Then, I caught the Pasonomi earbuds on a lightning sale on Amazon, and everything changed. I have a couple of songs that I use to test the earbuds. I put on a song with good heavy thumping bass and some punchy mids and highs. I tend to like good heavy bass and clear mids and highs. Often at this price point, you are sacrificing one or the other. From the first few beats of the song, I knew this was it! The bass was incredible and the mids and highs were nice and clear. Now, the clarity of sound is not on par with some high end headphones, like my Grado SR 80s, but it was excellent for what I desired. In addition to the sound quality, these earbuds can get very loud. I like loud music and I rarely raise the volume on these earbuds past the half way point. None of the other sets I tested can compare. I have been using these headphones for about two weeks now, and I am just as happy with them today as when I first heard them. If they are even remotely durable, then they will be an absolute steal and I will be buying more in the future. Take my advice. Order them, save some money and enjoy!

Met all of my expectations, and exceeded some
I've been using these earbuds for 2 weeks now, and they have met all of my hopes for them and exceeded some. Here are a few:Noise cancellation:When I'm wearing both earbuds and someone starts talking to me, I cannot hear them. I also wore these on the airplane to listen to music and an audiobook, and could hear the content great (which is a great improvement from using regular headphones, for which I need to turn the volume all the way up and still cannot hear).Using each side separately as single earbuds:I'm often with my child, and therefore want to still be able to hear what's going on around me as I'm listening to music or audiobooks. These earbuds can be used separately or together, which is a feature I was definitely looking for. I also enjoy giving one earbud to my husband and listening to music, books, or videos together.Microphone:One of the key features I was looking for in wireless earbuds was a good microphone. I'm often on conference calls, but sometimes need to move around while I'm on them, and therefore wanted earbuds without a cord but with great microphone quality. This is a tricky feature, because the microphone is in the earbuds themselves, not a microphone close to my mouth. This was the feature I was most worried about, and I chose these earbuds specifically because out of all the ones I looked at on Amazon, these were the only ones I saw in this price range that had reviewers mention good microphone quality consistently. And they did, in fact, deliver! People say they can hear me great when I'm talking to them on calls.Touch control:I really appreciate being able to control playing/pausing, volume, and skipping ahead/back on my music/audiobooks from these earbuds. It's very convenient. It takes a little getting used to to make sure you don't accidentally pause something (or hang up on a phone call), but once you get the hang of it, it's no problem.Distance:I have a Fitbit that also connects to my phone through Bluetooth, but it disconnects when I walk away from my phone to the other side of my apartment. Not these earbuds - they stay connected no matter where I go in my apartment, no matter how many walls are between them and my phone. This was something I wasn't expecting, but a very pleasant surprise.Discreetness:I have small ears, and was worried that these earbuds would feel and look too bulky and awkward. But they feel comfortable to wear, and while they do bulge out of the ears a little bit, since they are black and I have long black hair, people cannot even tell I'm wearing them.Price:For the price, these are a steal! My corded earphones were more expensive than these wireless earbuds. I can't believe they are selling for this price.Battery:I'm not completely sure how long the battery life lasts on the earbuds themselves before needing a charge, but the charger case is still showing 3 lights (meaning near full battery life), and I only charged it once, the first day I got it. Very impressive! And I love that it can also charge my phone with the USB port it offers. My only sadness was that the earbuds cannot connect to multiple devices at once, but again, at this price point, I can't complain. These are really great, and I would definitely recommend them.

Great for the price
My rating would be 3 1/2 stars if that were possible.PROS:Build quality - Solid for its price point.Battery - Long-lasting and charges fast.Comfort - I hardly feel it during my 2 hour walks every day.Charging case - Big battery that provides many charges.Pairing - It takes one second. Two at most.CONS:Sound - Earbuds at this price point all sound similar. No bass and tin can-like.Pairing - Does remember 2 devices, but right earbud refuses to pair when going back to the original device.Controls - Touch control has a significant delay in operation.I originally bought this for my daily walks, but now I use it primarily for youtube viewing. Lack of bass makes it terrible for music listening, but it's just fine for youtube videos. Get something better if you plan to use it on multiple devices. Otherwise, be prepared to reset the earbuds every time you switch devices. To conclude, it's a good earbud for dialogue listening, but terrible for music. The charging case comes with a huge battery, but that results in bulky size. So avoid it for music, portability, and the support of multiple devices. For the price, it's awesome for youtube.
