I have purchased a number of different visor type headlamps over the years but this one is by far the best! It is smaller than others I purchased recently for roughly the same price but at least as bright or brighter than the others and the battery lasts just as long if not longer yet it is also the smallest and lightest! I also find the buttons on these to be easier to operate than the others and I love the hands-free feature as well as the ability to select a red light that does not interfere with melatonin production in the evening! Another plus for these is that it does not cause a bright glow around the front of the light or on the visor like some other do. I found that so annoying that I had apply electrical tape to the front of two of the other lights in an attempt to reduce the distracting glow. I like this light so much that I bought a second one just in case I lose the first one or something and they stop selling these because I would not want to have to go back to any of the others I've used!

I decided I needed a flashlight that would fit on my head so I could carry deliveries in the dark without fumbling with both the packages and a flashlight. But I always wear a baseball style hat, so the lights that strap directly to your head wouldn't do. Then I discovered the "cap lights". Perfect.I originally bought the the "LHOTSE Mini Hands Free Cree LED Clip on Cap Light" for about $12 because it had lots of good reviews and one of the lowest prices on Amazon. If my idea did not work out as I had hoped, at least I didn't pay too much for it.The cap light worked as I hoped it would. Very handy and helpful. Unfortunately it managed to fall off my cap without my noticing and I never saw it again. I wasn't too upset since I didn't pay much for it. But clearly the hat clip was not strong enough. And the workmanship was noticeably shoddy... the water resistant cover for the USB port never fit quite right. And it just seemed to be poorly engineered overall.So, since the idea for a cap light worked well, I decided to get a more expensive one that would hopefully be better designed and built. The "Klarus HC5 Tiny Hands-Free Clip on Hat Light with Charging Case" for about $23 was my next choice. Bingo!Right away I noticed that the device looked and felt more durable. The cover for the USB port fit perfectly (very important if you're going to wear it on your hat in the rain). The hat clip fits VERY securely... I have to pull it firmly off my hat because it isn't going to fall off on its own. And it comes with a portable recharging case. Charge up the case and you can pop the cap light into it and recharge the light without carrying a cord with you. Or you can plug the cap light directly into a USB port with the included cord. Your choice.The light only stays fully charged for about 6 hours, so this might be a problem for those who need to keep it turned on constantly for more than 6 hours. But I only need the light on when I step out of the car at night for a few minutes at a time. So the 6 hour limit is no problem for me.And the cap light is truly water resistant as advertised. I've been out in the rain with it several times and had no problems.Yes, it cost me twice as much as the popular cheaper light. But it isn't going to fall off my hat. And it isn't going to get water into the USB port due to poor engineering. It works well and looks like it will hold up to repeated use for some time. So, I'm happy with it.

I bought one of these and liked it so well I bought a second one. Very nice light, recharges quickly, works great. Fits on hat easily and can work out it with, but easy to get light into hard places to fit when working. Highly recommended.

My husband has had all good things to say about his cap light. Clamps to the bill of his baseball cap on the top or hanging beneath the bill. He said it's bright, light weight, easy to locate the on off. He said it sheds light on the work he may be doing after dark. He gives it two thumbs up with only one concern, the clip that mounts the light is plastic and feels too fragile. He is not good with plastic! The flashlight is a keeper

I have used a lot of different lights and this one is by leaps and bounds better than the rest. The motion activation is the best and you can do it hands free if you need to. It has always worked perfectly. I love that it stays with your light selection each time it is turned off and on. I have had mine for 4 years now and the battery is still lasting all night and charges quickly. I have never needed all the light modes and would be happier with more compact and just on and off.

I love all the features of this little clip on light for my early morning or late night walks. It securely clips on to the side of my visor (so it doesn’t block my view) and I tilt it to point to the ground. It’s great to alert (but not blind) bikers and other walkers on the path. And now my hands are free and my light is steady! (I’m interested to see how long before I need to plug it into the USB to charge.)

Minus the red clip, it’s rather inconspicuous and has a nice sleek design. I honestly didn’t think I’d use it as much as I do, but it’s super convenient and saves me from using my phone and a second hand. As far as brightness goes, the adjustability is great and the brightest level is comparable to most headlamps, maybe a bit weaker. I love the rechargeable option and it seems pretty durable, sturdy, and stable.All in all, great for the price and pleasantly surprised with its performance, as it’s eliminating the use to carry an EDC flashlight and freed up a hand.

Pros - the light functions well. Bright enough, compact and I needed red light to preserve night vision.Cons - battery life is pretty poor. Even using the motion sensing function and very light sporadic use, I can't get a full night's use out of the light. The headband that comes with the unit is substantial but lacks an "over the skull" bandyo keep the horizontal ban in place during rigorous physical activity.

Se adapta muy bien a mi casco y me ha servido cuando estoy realizando trabajos en mi turno de tarde/noche. Igual cuando se necesita entrar a lugares con poca luz me ha funcionado bien

Compre esta mini linterna para poder ponerla en la pechera de mis perros y que alumbrara el piso al momento de sacarlos en las madrugadas/noches. Me lleve una excelente sorpresa al ver lo bien que alumbra y que no se caía sin importar lo fuerte que se sacuden mis perros. Definitivamente de las mejores compras que he realizado y ando muy feliz con el producto.

Qué me gustó de este producto es muy portátil y tiene buena capacidad de iluminación, que no me gustó compré 21 de ellos me falló la pila ya no retuvo la carga el segundo me sigue funcionando muy bien
