better than plastic
I have not installed yet, but the finish is really well chrome plated. Caught my engine on fire and burned up the stock plastic cover cause it filled up with gas from line leak and caught on fire when I started vehicle. If I would have had this chrome metal unit, damage would have been minimal.

needs to be trimmed
Installed in 32 Ford, 350 sbc and turbo 350. Took about an hour to trim it down neatly so that it would fit. Trim around the starter and under the back of the oil pan. Good weight to it, once trimmed matched up to an acceptable level

Flywheel guard
Looks nice and works but not without modifying the opening for the starter. Once the opening was modified, the dust cover works fine.

Better than OEM
Fits well on my 70 GMC C2500 pick up and looks good. The original was missing upon purchase.

You get what you pay for
Arrived fast, but was very cheap looking, as it was thin and wasn't shiny like shown in the picture. When I went to install it, the holes didn't line up at all like they should.
