First bottle of this, very thick and dry, is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. It is purposely designed that way to use less. Think of it as being concentrated. This conditioner works. I've been using it for 2 years and for those 2 years, I've been dandruff free. It makes your scalp feel clean and fresh. Trust me, you'll love it!!!

The description for sage states that it darkens and intensifies color. I don’t want this to happen as I have lighter hair. Does this really happen?
