Great for traveling

This is great, so long as you realize that it will not last forever. It's my favorite Contigo lid (the large Autospout Chug), but that lid has it's design faults, and Contigo knows about it. They've sense discontinued this style as a result. That said, I bought these knowing that, as I LOVED my previous Autospout Chug, and just went into the purchase understanding that this has a limited lifespan, and eventually the rubber will degrade, or the area behind the rubber will get mildew. It is what it is. Until that day (a few months from now), I will enjoy and use it frequently. If you want a bottle you can buy once and use for years-- THIS AIN'T IT. BUT- if you want a bottle you can use with joy for a limited time like 2-4 months-- you'll be happy with this purchase. I'm happy with it, which is why I give it a 4-star review. If they lasted longer, it'd be 5-stars as they are my favorite design.

I love this water bottle for the seal it creates when its closed. I'm forever dropping or tipping my drinks.. these never have opened or spilled when closed. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for cleaning is you cant clean inside the lid where the silicone seal.is. unfortunately it will grow mold and you should throw it away. I would still recommend this water bottle because it stays closed.

Easy to drink from and get good quantities. Easy to use with one hand.

I bought these to replace the straw version of the Contigo bottle. These are much better. They fit perfectly on the top rack of my dishwasher, clip on to my bag for the gym, and are easier to get a quick drink from than the version with the straw.

Whether I'm working in the garden or the gym, I get thirsty and want to chug the water rather than sip. These are great for that. They are easy to clean. Wide opening make it easy to add ice. I have had a few times when I knocked over the bottle and the bottle landed on the release button. I've learned to use the cap lock when I'm likely to knock the bottle over, or when I'm carrying it in a bag. Also like the variety of colors.

I love these! The only downfall is that eventually the silicone under the chug spout inside the cap might get icky. I'd say to check frequently but I love these. I drink more with the chug spout and it's helped tremendously with upping my water consumption.

Love these. Bought them for the kids and myself. It’s awesome because I’ve been trying to drink more water and so I carry it everywhere. Sometimes I need to have my hands free so I quickly attach to my purse straps with the clip at the top. The best part is most times I slide the little button to lock it and throw it in my purse and NO SPILLS!!! My daughter and son loves it because they can throw it in their backpacks and not be concerned about it leaking out. Best Buy you can ever make

My kids love it

Was quite the admustment to get the kids moved from the sippy cup style Contego bottles to this chug style. But we crossed the rubicon and we all like them. My wife's complaint with the other style was that they leaked too much. Sol long as the kids close these, when they fall over they don't leak. And we especially like the lock so that we can put them in back packs and not worry about the contents of our pack going for a swim like we did with the prior ones. Also much easier to drink from the chug style when thirsty. So for our 5 and 7 year old, and for dad who uses his daily, its an across the board success. Way too much money for what they are, but a success still the same.

These bottles are completely terrible. Within the first week of school all three of these bottles broke. Something happens to the silicone inside and the tops completely leak. For this brand I'm very surprised that this is happening, as I am not the first person to have these complaints. I would definitely not purchase these again, especially for the price. I'm very, very disappointed in this product.

We have used many different Contigo bottles as the years have passed.The Stray style sprays liquid at you when you open it due to temp difference.The standard one with the flip lid covering the spot with auto lock feature only trickles water out unless you haul on it.The CHUG is perfect. The opening is about the same as a 500ml disposable water bottle.Easy to clean, as there are no springs or small areas for soap to hang in.Since purchasing this set, we have purchased another 3 pack at our local big box membership store for only $20.Besides the price point, they finally made the perfect bottle.

This product was good the first week but after 1 week the top stopped flipping open with the button on 2 of the 3 containers. I gave my mom the 3rd container so could not return or I would have. I would not purchase this type of flip top lid again. I have had contigo containers that I was pleased with before. This was a bit disappointing.
