Holster Fits The Taurus Judge 6 1/2" Barrel

My new gun fit perfectly into the holster. With such a long barrel, I found it a bit awkward to draw with my right hand from my right hip, but this is generally true of any large gun with a belt holster. I found it easier to put the holster on my left side with the grip facing forwards and cross draw with my right hand (basically leave the clip alone and just slide the holster around to the left side). Just be aware of your muzzle discipline if you try this, since you're drawing the gun in a horizontal arc.

I needed a cheap holster to carry my Taurus 6 1/2 in barrel Judge on hiking trips in various environments. For the price, it is exactly what I needed.The holster is very light and made of a durable nylon material. It will most definitely keep out moisture and rain. The holster covers the long barrel in entirety BUT there is an opening at the end of the barrel. It is not a huge hole but for the purposes of harsh outdoor use, I would have liked for the holster to completely cover the barrel. But for the price, you can't complain. You always get what you pay for when it comes to holsters. The belt clip is sturdy and seems like it will last for a long time. It clips to any standard size belt. THE CLIP WILL NOT ATTACH COMPLETELY TO THICKER STYLE "COWBOY" BELTS, BUT IT WILL WORK. Since I am a lefty, the removable clip and snap function works well. The clip wasn't too easy to take off, but that's what I wanted. If it was so easy to remove, I'd question its durability. The height of the holster on my hip is in a good location, rides a little higher but that is what I wanted. If you have the judge 6 1/2 barrel you know that its a huge hand cannon so the lightweight nylon material goes a long way.If you are looking for a high quality or visually pleasing holster, get a fancy leather cowboy holster but expect to pay over $100. But if you want to get a cheap holster that gets the job done, GET THIS HOLSTER. This is also a good seller. I got my shipping tracking information in a reasonable amount of time AND my shipment came over a week before the estimated date. I ordered on a Saturday and got my package by the following Wednesday, 4 days later! And I selected the standard shipping option.

Exactly what I expected. Great fit for the long barrel judge. It can be changed from a lefty to a righty. I own many of these types of holsters, and they all work great on the farm or a backup hunting holster.

It is a good holster and fits the 6.5" Judge very well. The snap is a bit loose but nothing that is of concern.
