reading is power
Sturdy cards that support my Kindergarten grandson in learning his sight words. We make a game of it and he is delighted. He hunts for the smaller word 'hidden' in larger words (is in his for example). Very much recommend. Reading is an essential life skill!

these words on sturdy card stock seem to be a good investment
The review for Sight Words-Level 3 will be about the same as for this level 2. I plan to use these flash cards in teaching my ESL class. I show them to the class and pronounce the words after which they repeat the word. I then read the sentence shown on the back of the card so they'll understand how the word is used in context. The cards, however, can be used in so many more ways. The word can be shown and then the students are asked to write the word. This acts as a spelling test. As the students become more advanced, they are asked to pick out all the nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and prepositions from the sentences. For the amount of money invested, these words on sturdy card stock seem to be a good investment. I'd certainly recommend them. Take care and good luck, Bobby B

Great cards
loved level 1 of these sight words, couldn't wait to buy this level. Work on sight words with other flash cards daily with my son, but they were just getting old. My son loves these cards and looks forwards to reading the sentence on the back since we already knows the sight words. some of the sentences has words he doesn't know, but he actually looks forwards to sounding the new words out and reading the sentence. he will reread the sentence til he gets it right, but not because he has to but because he wants to :)The cards are sturdy and with the price, plan on buying all the sets.

Great learning and reminders.
These are a great way to refresh my sons spelling skills. Home learning doesn’t provide all the little videos and songs and those little reminders that are provided in schools daily so I ordered these. They are working. I made some last year and unfortunately threw them away when my son learned the words thinking he would remember them forever. I was wrong. I’ll be keeping these!

Wonderful Set
I use this product to teach my little brother sight words. We laminated each card to extend its life. After successfully spelling a word, we use the box it comes with as a word bank and my brother loves putting the cards in the empty box until it all piles up and he completes his lesson.

Relevant sight words
First of all, these words are very relevant to the words my daughter learns in class. They are bold and large enough to see from a few feet away, which is nice for my daughter because her eyes are not the best. In addition, there is a sentence on the back of each card to put it in context. Good product

Exactly what I was looking for
Seamed to have most of the words that my daughter was learning in first grade. And I love that they can use them in a sentence on the back

Purchased Levels 1-3
I bought the set, levels 1 to 3. My babies notice the increase in difficulty in the words per level. That's just what I was looking for. I think the use of the word in a sentence on the back is a nice little perk because the kids have to take a step further and read even more words.
