Apple Watch Band, iVAPO 38mm Stainless Steel Replacement Link Bracelet Strap Classic iWatch Wristband with Tools for Apple Watch (38mm Space Gray)

Ordered July 26th, arrived August13th. Reasonable price and apparent style led me to ignore negative feedback. My band arrived without any directions for resizing and the "tool" is not really self explanatory. Fortunately another reviewer had posted copy of instructions which gave me the nerve to apply serious pressure to remove pins which hold links in place. The tool is plastic and it appears to be on the verge of breaking before the pin finally "popped" free. But I was able to get the links adjusted to the closest fit possible - a bit tight but probably better than a bit loose. Also - the band inserts into the slot on the watch with a very tight fit - especially the first time. I was concerned that it wouldn't fit at all but after trying different angles etc it worked. Not as finely and precisely sized in this regard as the Apple bands. Now the the band is assembled it looks good. The finish is not exactly the same as the space gray but very close and not noticeably different unless closely examined. Mine has no blemishes in the finish . So at this point I am satisfied but am still concerned about how this will hold up after use because others have had problems. Holding off on one star for future finish issues. Lost one star (might have been more) for no instructions and difficulty removing links. If you have to remove links, be careful and take your time.PS - also came with another item in plastic bag - appears to be possibly a clear plastic watch fact protector. If so, it is rather thick and I would never use. Also another "tool" was in the that bag. Looks like possibly a small screw driver with tiny head? No idea about that.

As some others have mentioned, the paint job on this product could be of higher quality. I've been wearing this almost daily for nearly two months now, and whereas it's holding up fairly well (particularly for this price point), I am beginning to notice where some of the paint is starting to wear off on the underside. It's just a little bit here and there, and it's just where I've rested my wrist while typing. In the past, I've usually removed my watches when typing for prolonged periods, so it's not that big of a deal for me just to take my Apple Watch off every time I sit down to type. If that's a deal-breaker for you, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. But if you're like me and you're just looking for an inexpensive--but very nice-looking--metal band for your Apple Watch, this might be a good bet for you.

The look and feel is nice, however I see how easily it gets scratched up, simply removing the pins. Tool provided broke on second link removal. And you can't remove enough links to make it fit. I have 6.5 inch wrist. It's still too big. Took finding our own tools to remove links and had to hammer one link in because it just wouldn't snap all the way in when putting it back together. Super big pain with the pieces that attach directly to watch and only three of the four tiny screws were magnetic... Ultimately having to return. Disappointed

To be fair, I haven't worn a watch in almost 20 years.The color of the band goes nicely with the grey aluminum watch 38. It's not exact, but very close, and it looks good. The band is comfortable, and with the tool they provide, i was able to make a pretty good fit. It's built well, and looking forward to see how it lasts for a year. For the price, can't go wrong. I'll chime back if it falters any time soon.

Great looking band and you truly can't beat the price, especially when compared to Apple branded bands. I love the fact it came with the link removal tool, which I found easy to remove links myself. The only downside I see is the black is starting to wear off on the bottom. I expected this, as this has happened with all of my black steel watch bands I've ever owned. I just wish it wouldn't. I would buy from iVAPO again.

Locking mechanism that is supposed to have an audible click into your Apple Watch does not function correctly. In the pictures attached, you can see that when I depress the rubber mechanism that is supposed to push the locking pin into the slot on your Apple Watch, it does not evenly activate the locking pin. It only pushes one side of the pin in and thus the entire band can slip freely out of one end of the watch. This is the result of a faulty/uneven spring for the pin and a one-sided rubber mechanism that activates the pin.I'm returning this faulty one and ordered a new one; hopefully it doesn't have the same problem.

This watch band is as described and very high quality that is pleasing to the eye and very comfortable on the wrist. Fitting tool and instructions will work if followed carefully and with patience to re-size. I had no difficulty taking out one link. Only complaint, too long a wait to get the band. Very high Quality and excellent workmanship for price.

So to start off the watch band looks great and has held up under normal use for about a month now. The bad part is and I feared this in the beginning was the connection to the watch has become more and more loose over time and now will not stay in at all. I'd have to go with another brand next time.
