Ready Seal 3 Gallon Pack (Pecan)

I bought this stain for my pine privacy fence project—it was no longer available nearby due to the pandemic mad dash on home improvement supplies. The stain rolls/brushes on very watery and drips a lot. But the drips and runs *disappear* like magic within minutes. It was pretty amazing how easy it was to apply onto 225 picket (😱). After the first 20, I found a video online that showed me how to create a trough so I dipped the rest. Easy-peasy. With two coats, the pecan stain color is a lovely medium brown so my fence blends well into the landscape of trees.The protection only requires one coat, but be forewarned: the instructions say “two coats are required for deeper color.” The first coat dries semi-transparent.

Ready Seal is so easy to put on. We used brushes and rollers and there is NO OVERLAP! We've stained before using other products and within 2 years it looked awful. I can't give Ready Seal high marks for longevity yet. We'll have to see what it looks like next year. We have a large deck so we used 3 gallons and still ran out. First Pic is where we ran out, but I'm showing our clean, ready-to-be-stained deck there. 2nd pick is a better shot of deck. We used the color Pecan. I highly recommend!!

Waiting on reply from seller...After buying the color sample pack and deciding we liked the orange/red tint of the "Pecan " sample, we purchased the 3 gallon option. Apon opening a gallon the stain appeared dark; but they all do. I applied a small portion to the same cedar board with my test samples. The sample Pecan is a lite orange/red as I mentioned. The "Pecan " in the 3 gallon pack looks like BURNT COFFEE!!! Will NOT Take a chance on Mail Order stain again!!!! Ever!

Great product. So easy to use, no back brushing. I used with a Wagner electric sprayer and it worked like a charm, although, it doesn't go as far because of overspray. This product does absorb into the wood quite a bit, so the yield isn't extremely high, but overall, I believe this will help my fence last for years to come. Stain and sealer on one! Cans were slightly dented but not leaking upon arrival- no big deal for me.

Purchased pecan color. So beautiful and exactly the color I was looking for. It will vary based on wood type. We have dogwood fencing therefore the color was a deeper pecan. Love it!!!

It was easy to use and clean up. Seems to be long lasting only had it on a few weeks and works wonderfully.

We've had to apply this in stages to our new wooden cedar fence, as we ran out a couple of times. Is a little pricey, but goes on beautifully and looks amazing! We bought the pecan color, and deliveries were timely and well packaged. Time will tell as far as the longevity, but so far so good!
