Scoring Stylus, Lilac

​I bought this scoring stylus for making cards and paper crafts, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. It snaps right into the accessory clamp on my Cricut with no hassle at all. It leaves nice, crisp fold lines on cardstock for cards, envelopes, and boxes so everything folds super cleanly without cracking the paper. So glad I added this tool to my crafting setup!

Love it. I have Explore Air 2 and didn't think I was able to use a score tool. The first time I used it, the scoring barely showed up. But now it is working great. Thinking of ordering another one. Just in case this one gets lost or left somewhere.

Never used a scoring stylus before so I was excited to try it on my cricut. I wad very happy with how well it worked, it was super easy to put in the cricutexplore. The price was great.

The Cricut Scratching Pencil offers precise fold marking directly on the secondary head of the machine. It allows you to mark and cut in a single continuous step, optimizing the production of cards and small boxes. Time optimization: Unlike QuickSwap tools, this stylet is placed on the "A" clamp (designed for accessories or markers). This means that the machine can mark the fold lines and then cut the contour with the thin blade on the "B" clamp automatically, without you having to pause the project to change the head. Fold Quality: Offers a clean and tear-free slit on standard office paper, origami paper, parchment paper and lightweight cardboard (up to 65 lb / 176 gsm). The fibers of the paper sink gently facilitating symmetrical bending. Keep in mind: The pressure exerted by the stylet is fixed and is limited by the force of the "A" clamp. If you work on a recurring basis with very thick or textured cardboard (more than 80 lb / 216 gsm), the slit may be superficial, requiring in those cases the heavy pressure rotary wheel in the main cutting head.

Don't know how I missed this tool - I was trying to make cards with the cricut & kept looking at the scoring tool. Then I read that the stylus can be used too (a whole lot easier than trying to find center & fold it freehand. Sheesh, so much frustration that I could've avoided. Works great, easy to use - definitely compatible. Looks nice. As for versatility - well not only can I put it into the Cricut Maker machine ... realized I could use it in the slot on the paper cutter to score as well --- no need to put the score blade into that either.

Produit conforme, s'adapte bien à la cricut ce qui permet de couper et rainurer sans changer d'outil. les rainures ne sont pas très marquées mais suffisantes pour plier proprement par la suite
