Solid and look great.
These flares were perfect for my 1998 Wrangler TJ. They fit well, look good, and, once secured, are extremely sturdy.**I did not fully trust the self-drilling screws as supplied because these flares do have some weight to them. Instead I used 1/4 x 1" hex head bolts, with washers and nuts, wherever possible. There were 2-3 places on each rear flare and 1 spot on each front flare where I did use the self-drilling screws because I did not want to remove fender liners. Every other location got a bolt, washers, and nut. So my install is really solid.

Great looking and easy install
These are such a nice upgrade over stock plastic. They feel heavy duty, just installed last week, so we'll see how they last. Self tapping screws drill directly into the body panels (do not use existing holes). I put Locktite on the threads, and might put a nut on the inside (not included, but easily found at a hardware store). I had to clamp the front passenger body panel to get the last few screws to hold (extras are included, should you need them). Overall exactly what I wanted for my old TJ, makes my 33s look puny though haha.

Awesome! Looks great.
Fit perfectly on a 2001 TJ, and install was easy. I used clamps and a level to hold in place when attaching. The hardest part was removing the old fenders. I ended up painting the hardware that was supplied black to match once install was complete, it would be nice if that was standard. Gave my jeep a whole new look from the stock fenders and I'm happy with the way it looks more aggressive now.

Sheet metal screws
The quality is good and after installation they look very nice and feel sturdy, the only issue is that the tolerances clearly arent very tight and nothing lines up (atleast with my 98 TJ) so instead of using your old fender bolts, you have to the use sheet metal screws they provided which do not thread very nicley into the side of your jeep. This is because you are trying to make your own threaded holes in steel that is only 1-2mm thick so its very easy to strip out the hole, from there I'd have to get a new screw with bigger threads or hopefully I could get a nut on the other end and just bolt it down but some you cant. This also means you cant remove them in the future as easily. That said if you can get them on tight, definitely worth it.

Look great!
Easy to put on. I'd recommend using a rivet gun. The screws are ok, easy to put in, but do loosen up some. They are very sturdy. You could stand on it. Very happy with how they look!

Add Flare to Your Jeep
These are AWESOME fender flares! I was very impressed with the quality and ruggedness and so glad I went with the steel instead of the plastic. I had plastic flares on there initially and was not happy with them because the paint began to peel weeks after I painted them so I had them painted again and they peeled again just like clock work. The body shop told me that plastic tends to bend and flex while driving your vehicle which will cause the paint to peel in most applications. The paint did not peel on the metal fender flares and they are about $100.00 cheaper than the plastic which is a plus. These are easy to install within a couple of hours and they look fantastic! I would highly recommend these fender flares to any Jeep owner looking to add some flare their Jeep!

Holes are NOT correct
Don’t buy if you’re expecting the holes to line up. I already had nutserts installed, so these are being returned. With that said, the quality seems ok for the price if you’re not already committed to stock mounting holes.
