I have a zomei tripod/monopod and it’s the exact lost part.

Deliveried on time great product and it worked with my Nikon D80 camera

The base fit up had to be altered by enlarging the security pin openings slightly . . . a Dremel and a soft touch did the job . . . this base is of better construction than the original base, just slightly too narrow at the pins requiring a mild retouch to enlarge to allow proper fit-up.

I ordered this for the Zomei Z699C tripod but returned this tripod. I found this plate works fine for the Z988 tripod that I order in place of the Z699C. It works fine.

Works as advertised. Good price, well made, and can be adopted to many different cameras and small spotting scopes.

There’s nothing that irritates me more than doing absolutely everything right on my end and the product STILL doesn’t work. It would be helpful if these ppl would give precise measurements of the plate that fits inside the mount—not the surface where the camera goes, but the square under it. Having to waste time and energy returning something bc the company itself is inept in writing a description is beyond frustrating.
