I bought these shoes for a trip to Cancun and Tulum because I wanted something comfortable that I could wear in the water for snorkeling and cenotes since I knew it would be rocky. They are amazing! They fit perfectly and are adjustable which is awesome after flights. I wore them the whole trip for hikes, into cenotes and the ocean and on the beaches. They held up really well and I know they will be a favorite at home too. They might not be the trendiest but I still think they are cute.The white part wasn’t super white as mentioned in other reviews. I would say it was more of a cream color but that didn’t bother me at all. I normally wear a size 7 or 7.5, sometimes even an 8. I decided to get the size 7 as I would prefer them a little small rather than too floppy since they are adjustable. However, I didn’t need to worry as the size 7 fit me perfectly. No overhang on the heel or toes. They are very light and easy to swim in. There was no break in time required and I’ve worn them almost every day since I bought them.I highly recommend!

Tavares sandals are very light and comfortable

Grew up wearing flip flops like Rainbows. Decided at my age I need something more supportive and, now that I have two kids, more secure. I have never thought of buying Tevas once in my life, but the idea popped in my mind and thought I’d try something new. Got these in the mail, went to Palm Springs with them, and they were my “everything” shoe. They would get soaking wet around the pool then they would dry off and I could wear them to get coffee/food/etc.After wearing them for a couple days, I realized my toe muscles were a little sore. But I see that as a positive because I know that I’m activating my foot muscles more. To note, I wear the straps super, super loose. That way, I don’t get any blisters from the straps (at least until they fully break in) and also, so I have more of a “barefoot but with padding” feeling. lol.I personally think they’re really cute with my style but I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea. My style is southern Californian laid back and a little funky. Also this shade of brown is PERFECT.All in all, a super great purchase so far. Loving them. Went with buying off of Amazon instead of the Teva website bc I needed them faster and didn’t want the hassle of returning through Teva (so much easier dropping off at a Whole Foods return). Love these little tevas!! Perfect for my 3 yr old!

I was given these sandals for a birthday gift for an upcoming beach trip. I had read the reviews about the resort and the reviews said their beach was very rocky. I wore them before my trip to break them in and I wore them everyday on my trip. A true must have for any beach trip. The beach was rocky but only close to shore and once you were past the rocks. the beach was perfect for swimming, floating, playing in the water, etc. and I kept the Teva's on the entire time. The shoes had great traction on the rocks and I had no trouble at all getting into and out of the water. When it was time to get out of the water and shower off, you just shower off the shoes and go on your way. I wear them all the time now and I love them. Very comfortable and easy to get on/off. I did have to purchase a 1/2 size up from my normal size, but they still fit perfectly. I even wore them at the airport through TSA, where you have to remove your shoes. If you purchase these TEVA's, you won't be disappointed.

I wear these at the lake and they are so comfortable all day. The straps don't dig in anywhere. I am able to walk around in them all day with no foot pain. They are very well made
